Call of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason 5 has officially arrived, bringing with it new maps, weapons, operators, and skins. As with every season, the in-game store gets a massive update with new Bundles available for purchase. A stunning 38 new bundles are now filling up theCall of Duty: Modern Warfarestorewith options ranging from simple skin packs to entire cosmetic sets. There is sure to be a cosmetic collection for every fan among the massive list of options, including Tracer Rounds, which appear more than once through the entire set, showing Activision’s commitment to cater to the game’s community. Each bundle can be purchased using COD Points, providing fans with a small dose of cosmetic variety to their accounts. Players can expect frequent Gift Packs to continue to release and they may contain previously unavailable items scattered throughout the season in addition to these bundles.
Fan reception has been positive on Reddit with fans loving The Executive Armorer pack for its Golden Tracers and Golden Dismemberment features. Many fans appreciate the Ghost pack as well calling it “guaranteed money” due to the character’s popularity in the battle royale mode.
One feature that caught many fan’s attention is the addition ofSeason 1’s bundle items and skins. Players who missed the opportunity to gain cosmetics from the first season of the game now have a revived opportunity with the Battle Pass Season 1 packs available for purchase. Any fan who wants to try and collect specific cosmetics for varying operators from Season 1 can now purchase their preferred pack.
Due to the way that Season 5 is setting up their bundles players are hoping that in Season 6 the Season 2 bundles will return. This would offer fans a revolving chance to catch up on time-sensitive content despite not playing during the event.
