Some reviews have also claimed that its entertaining with just one player, which not all fighting games can say about themselves.
The 2D art is definitely nostalgia-inducing and it made the colors pop. Besides Metacritic, this game has near perfect ratings in publications likeGamesSpot, Eurogamer, andIGN.

9Worst: Final Fight: Streetwise (42)

Originally,Devil May Crywas going to be aResident Evilgame but Capcom decided to cut its ties with theResident Evilfranchise and give the game its own life.
To this day,Devil May Cryinfluences video games with its legacy. It is a standard to which other games are measured.

7Worst: Resident Evil: Survivor (39)
WhileResident Evilis one of Capcom’s biggest franchises, that does not necessarily mean everyResident Evilgame is pure gold. Fans of the survival horror series would say this game is an offense to its title.
What fans hated included terrible graphics, awful story, and that it can be beaten in just four hours. If you get rid of the Resident Evil bits, this game is just a brain-dead first-person shooter.

5Worst: Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor (38)
Released in 2012, this game served as a sequel toSteel BattalionandSteel Battalion: Line of Contact. It was for the Xbox 360 and put the franchise downhill. The original games were well received, but this one was widely criticized.
The major reason that this game flopped was that it required a Kinect sensor. The game was almost unplayable due to the Kinect senors having issues picking up the players' movements. Players died a lot and the checkpoints were so far from each other that is was a frustrating mess.

4Best: The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past (95)
Yes, this title is originally Nintendo’s. However, Capcom and Nintendo worked together in the development of the 2002 Gameboy Advance version. Now that version sits pretty on Metacritic as one of Capcom’s best games.

Like mostLegend of Zeldagames, this one was a hit for its beautiful soundtrack, whimsical story, and entertaining gameplay. Capcom may owe this victory mostly to Nintendo, but it is interesting to see that they had a hand in this particularZeldagame.
3Worst: Chaos Legion (37)
On the PlayStation 2, this game has a score of 65. For the PC version though, that gets cut almost by half down to 37. This is because the PC port malfunctions. Tons of fans had issues getting this game to run on this computer. Perhaps the most hilariousMetacritic reviewis by Computer Gaming World which wrote, “I’ve birthed children in less time than it takes the game CDs to fire up.”
User scores are much more positive than critic scores so it is pretty hard to determine which side to believe.

2Best: Resident Evil 4 (96)
To not much surprise, it isResident Evil 4that is Capcom’s highest rated game on Metacritic. Both the Gamecube and PlayStation 2 versions got a 96. The version scored a 91. The PlayStation 4 versions got a 82. The Switch version got a 81 and it keeps going downhill from there in terms of different consoles. The lesson is to get this game on either they PlayStation 2 or Gamecube.
As mentioned before, Capcom is the best at survival horror and this is one of those games where they put out there best. Players and critic alike loved the games' atmosphere, memorable fights, and difficulty level.

1Worst: Umbrella Corps (36)
