The Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which is considered to be one of thebest CPUs for streaming, gaming, and video editing, could already be picked up for as low as $349 last Christmas, the outlet previously reported.
The new price cuts come as a new generation of AMD CPUs is expected to be released very soon. In what appeared to be an accident, hardware manufacturer Gigabyte announced the existence of Ryzen 9000, a series of next generation processors that will most likely be powered by AMD’s upcoming Zen 5 microarchitecture.Zen 5 CPUs will be 40% faster than their Zen 4 predecessorsin certain workloads, rumors have suggested. The latter generation already had a 13% instructions per clock advantage compared to Zen 3.
