Video game fans are known for creating amazing things to celebrate their favorite titles, but oneAmong Usfan has made something that stands out. A one-minute video uses stop motion animation to bring the spacesuit-clad, funny hat-wearing characters ofAmong Usto life.
Japanese Director Kenta Shinohara has posted a number of stop motion videos to his Twitter and YouTube accounts over the years, ranging from a clip ofStreet Fighter’s Sakura battling a can of Red Bull to a recreation ofKirby’s victory dance. In a video posted today, he uses 10Among Usfigures to give fans a glimpse at how the cute little critters settle into their new home: an elaborate dollhouse. The figures in this video aren’t quite as soft as theofficialAmong Usplushies, but they’re still adorable, and they appear to be satisfied with the dollhouse.

The video begins with a hand knocking on a closed drawer, out of which pop theAmong Usspacemen. Sound effects from the game are heard as they notice the dollhouse and proceed to have a hasty discussion about it. Soon, an agreement is reached and the spacemen hop down from the drawer. They proceed to enter the dollhouse one by one, showing off theAmong Ushats and accessoriesin the process.
After moving into the dollhouse, the spacemen open up the cupboards and fridge, hop up the stairs, watch games ofAmong Uson the TV, and engage in other household activities. There is one imposter among them, but the terrifying space monster appears to be content napping in one of the bunk beds. A few spacemen even have a miniature picnic with all sorts of blue and green dishes. The video concludes with a little dinner party in the dollhouse dining room, which is crash by the imposter. Luckily, nothing that goes on in this video is anywhere near as scary as theAmong Us-themed engagement ring boxcreated by another fan.
This is far from the onlyAmong Usanimation out there. YouTube animator LumpyTouch and Twitter user melonadem even built a wholefan game calledSuper Imposter Bros. on the Game Boy Color. The dolls used have relatively little articulation, so Shinohara had to get creative in order to show movement and expression. Judging by the clip’s warm reception on Twitter and YouTube, he appears to have succeeded.
Among Usis available now on Mobile, PC, and Switch, with PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X support coming in 2021.
