Thelong history of Kings Canyonmeans it has been in theApex Legendsmap rotation for the game’s entire history, not counting the times it’s been disabled for reworks. However, gamers have recently begun to express frustrations with the map for a variety of reasons. One major complaint is that it offers very little to help players stop or stall a third party. Another issue is that the loot could be spread more evenly between various locations instead of concentrated in just a few.
As of writing, manyApex Legendsfans appear to be relieved that Kings Canyon is being taken down again. With the common criticisms of the map’s recent performance in mind, it may be easy to see why this decision would be a relief. One Twitter user went so far as to reply telling Respawn Entertainment not to bring Kings Canyon back. Although the tweets focus on the specific error message problem that led to the map being disabled, it’s possible thatApex Legendscould add some newchanges to Kings Canyonbefore putting it back up.
