This picture was shared by Japanese Twitter user oyaji93, who showed a design of one of their mechas decorated in pink and red. The screenshot showed one of their mechs had a decal of Kirby’s face on its chest. This is possible due toArmored Core 6’s decal system, where players can decorate their robots with a customized design that can be placed anywhere. Decals can be shared using a unique Share ID, with the PC version allowing players to upload their own images to use.

The tweet’s caption roughly translated says that this would be the result of Kirby inhaling one of the Armored Cores, which got a laugh from many users. Some fans in particular were reminded of the last time Kirby went on an adventure involving a giant robot, the3DS exclusiveKirby: Planet Robobot. In that game, Kirby controlled his own mech suit that granted him the ability to use more powerful versions of his traditional copy abilities, taking on a brand-new robotic alien threat.

Some fans joked thatArmored Core 6was actually a sequel toKirby: Planet Robobot, due to how it wouldn’t be out of place based onKirby’s past nemeses that have threatened Planet Popstar. Other players asked for the code from oyaji93, as they also wanted to create their own Armored Cores and plaster Kirby’s face on them. This is just one thing that shows how fans can spruce up their robot and make it look more unique.
