Assassin’s Creed Valhallatakes players into the world of Vikings and Norse mythology. The world map is full of various quests and locations for fans to explore, from England to Norway. As part of supporting that theme, Ubisoft includes a way for the main character Eivor to explore mythical locations. To do so, gamers will need to check out thisAssassin’s Creed Valhallaguide for completing the Going Deeper quest.
Going Deeper is a somewhat tricky mission, but the end reward provides a potion toexplore Asgard and Jotunheim. The problem is it relies on locating and collecting various ingredients for Valka, a character that can be found in Ravensthorpe. As the one who guides the Raven Clan’s religious beliefs, it makes sense that she is the link to these otherworldly areas.

After finding Valka and accepting the quest, players will see that the need to collect resources for the potion. The two main ingredients are Fireweed and St. John’s Wort. Assuming Eivor does not have these already, head over toCent on the world mapto begin. Specifically, go north of the Dover Cliffs and locate a hidden cave. The objective marker will direct players to a house where the special items can be found.
Move down the ladder and enter the Cavern of Trials, this is where the Fireweed and St. John’s Wort are. Use Odin’s Sight to find a hanging key, and use it to open the door ahead. Once in the next area, players can find one Fireweed. Keep going forward until reaching a portion of the cave that has a St. John’s Wort and another Fireweed. From here, travel throughout the system until finding a moveable rock. Moving the rock will open an area to another key, but just head up the middle rock for now.
After reaching the area above, look for a doorway on the left side. There is a key in this room too, but players seeking to get the potion can just head across. On this side, St. John’s Wort arehidden items waiting to be collected. For those who got every key so far, head back down into the room with the large rock. Two doors can be opened to treasure, so players will want to grab that before heading out. There is more to the Cavern of Trials, but now that the ingredients are safely gathered, head back to Valka.
Just fast travel back to Ravensthorpe and speak to the NPC again to continue the quest. She will make the potion that Eivor needs to access the two mythical lands. All players will have to do is direct Eivor to drink the potion, and the hallucinations will begin. From here, fans are free to explore theworld of Jotunheim, which has a variety of quests to complete.
