WhileBug Fables’post-game content is not as robust as some other RPGs, it is supplemented by alarge amount of side contentthat most players may have missed as they pursued the story. With all this in mind, there are still quite a lot of things to do inBug Fablesonce the main story is complete.

8Complete The Post-Game Quests

Immediately after beating the game, Team Snakemouth will have a few loose ends to tie up. These include an additional quest, along with two important story quests for Kabbu and Team Maki.

Additionally, if Team Snakemouth has completed certain optional content beforehand, they will also have access to two other quests. One of these features one of the toughest boss battles in the game, proving that the Wasp King really isn’t the end ofBug Fables.

7Play Some Arcade Games

What better way to wind down after a long journey than by playing some games within a game? At some point during Chapter 6, the Termacade will open shop in theconspicuously vacant buildingin the Ant Kingdom. Unfortunately, the selection isn’t all that great. The Termacade offers a whoppingtwogames to play.

Players can choose to either play the dungeon crawler Mite Knight or the suspiciously familiar Flower Journey. These games will reward the player with tokens that they can exchange for fabulous prizes. While none of the rewards are particularly game-breaking, completionists should be aware that there is an achievement that requires them to achieve a high score in both games.

6Play Spy Cards & Win The Metal Island Tournament

Bug Fables' other minigame is a card game. While it is no Gwent, Spy Cards still provides a nice change of pace for players looking for something unique to do inBug Fables. It also helps to know that Spy Cards is also a competitive sport in Bugaria, and players will encounter other bugs in their journey who are interested in a round or two.

By defeating all four Card Masters, Team Snakemouth can earn entry to the Spy Cards tournament on Metal Island. Winning the Spy Cards tournament will reward Team Snakemouth with a Crystal Berry and an exclusive Card Trophy.

5Complete The Underground Tavern’s Bounties

Upon completing a certain quest, Team Snakemouth will gain access to the Underground Tavern. This important location allows them to exchange their Crystal Berries for Medals, along with completing bounties for rewards.

The bounties all lead to optional bosses. In true RPG fashion, these encounters are typically tougher than the ones Team Snakemouth had to undertake in the main story. Defeating all of these bosses is necessary to complete the bestiary and get one step closer to 100% completion.

4Overcome The Cave Of Trials

Savvy gamers will recognizeBug Fablesas an homage to Nintendo’sPaper Marioseries. This extends not only to its aesthetic, but to its gameplay as well. if there was any doubt left,Bug Fableshas even included a special endgame challenge that is more or less the equivalent ofPaper Mario’s Pit of 100 Trials.

Hunting Down a Bounty Boss

What separatesBug Fables’Cave of Trials from the Pit of 100 Trials is its length. The Cave of Trials is much less arduous than the Pit of 100 Trials, covering only 50 battles instead of 100. Nevertheless, this is still one ofBug Fables’toughest challenges and players should be well-prepared. Rumors tell of aspecial secret bossat the end of the Cave, but that is a discovery that only the most dedicated of explorers can find.

3Complete The B.O.S.S. Rush

The B.O.S.S. is an optional challenge that Team Snakemouth can take on in the Bee Kingdom. Players can replay any boss they previously fought, but the real challenge lies in completing the full boss rush or mini-boss rush.

Completing either boss rush grants the player exclusive Medals along with the respective trophy. Plus, it’s always satisfying to crush one’s foes a second time.

2Beat Team Maki Again

After completing Team Maki’s post-game quest, Team Snakemouth will have an opportunity to spar with them and their newest member as much as they like. Team Maki is considered to beBug Fables’true superboss, having some of the highest stats in the game. This battle between rivals will test Team Snakemouth’s resolve to its max.

While it seems like common sense to neutralize the healer/support first, doing so will enrage Maki and cause him to buff himself. On the other hand, if both Maki and Kina are defeated first, Yin will automatically surrender. There are many strategies the player can take when fighting this battle.

1Unlock All The Achievements

The last thing to do inBug Fablesis to unlock all the other achievements, which will grant players that sweetfinal 100% completion achievement. This includes a myriad of tasks, such as completing all quests, the bestiary and recipe book, along with collecting all Medals and Crystal Berries.

Finally, players will need to beat every boss using the hard mode Medal. This can be done either the first time around or in the B.O.S.S. rush if players fought all the bosses in normal mode.
