As with previous mid-season updates, a Double XP event is also on the way, starting on Friday, January 15 and going until Tuesday, January 19. This time around it will be a Double Weapon XP event taking place in bothBlack Ops Cold WarandWarzone.
The timing is perfect for players who are looking for a new gun to use now that the DMR is not ruining the meta.There are a number of underratedWarzoneloadoutsthat could become more viable, so giving players a chance to level up some of these weapons is great.
After a tumultuous launch that saw the return of a number of glitches that many hoped would never reappear, like the infamous Stim Glitch, it seems developers Treyarch and Raven Software are starting to get a handle on the situation. The developers are addressing issues faster, and this new content seems to be exciting for players. In particular, many fans are interested in the new Sanatorium map, which some speculate will be apart of the newWarzonebattle royale mapexpected to launch in March.
