Call of Dutyfans quickly took to social media to sound the alarm about the error message, with many fans worried that they would soon be losing all the content that they had worked to unlocksinceModern Warfare 3launched last month. The official Call of Duty Updates Twitter account was quick to ease fans' concerns, confirming that the error message is “incorrect.” Players will keep their rank, unlocks, purchases, and everything else after they hit “yes” regardless of what the error message says. However, it is possible that loadouts and some in-game settings may be reset, soCall of Dutyfans should keep that in mind.
