While playing on Season 5’s new maps and modes, the Battle Pass may be leveled up over time to earn unique rewards.

A newCall of Dutyblog post reveals what’s planned forModern Warfare 2andWarzoneSeason 5 such as five new operators and the BlackCell Battle Pass upgrade. Shadow Company’s Arthur will join as a new and exclusive BlackCell operator alongside Battle Pass operators Graves, Oz, Velikan, and Mila on August 2. All operators except Arthur will be available through normal progression of the Season 5 Battle Pass, and all BlackCell purchases will include Arthur and additional skins for the newly added operators. Moreover, BlackCell purchases include 1,100 COD Points, the “Caliburn” Tracer Weapon blueprint, the “Gwen” Battle Buddy gun screen, and much more. The pricing model for the BlackCell Battle Pass upgrade remains the same for Season 5 at $29.99.

The Season 5 Battle Pass also allowsModern Warfare 2andWarzoneplayers to earn several new weapons such as the FR Avancer and Carrack .300. Various Shadow Company-themed weapon blueprints such as the “Banneret” and “Raider” may be obtained, and more weapons will be added later in Season 5, including the M13C. Players who have extra COD Points to spend may also purchase new Tracer Packs with additional Snoop Dogg, Ghost, and Valeria operator skins. Snoop Dogg will be available around the launch window on August 2, andNicki Minaj and 21 Savage will be available as operatorsin a mid-season update.

The Season 5 Battle Pass appears to be the biggest yet forModern Warfare 2andWarzonewith hip hop icons and returning characters from theModern Warfareseries. Further, the season looks very promising with additional operators and content arriving in the Season 5 Reloaded update, andtheCall of Duty2023 reveal eventshould be an exciting time for fans of the franchise.
