Promoting his new series,Kin, Cox touched on his recent MCU debut and how he is aware of his character’s appearance in future MCU projects. “I know something,” Cox shared with RadioTimes. “I don’t know much, but I know there will be something else.” While there’s no telling what project Cox is referring to, Marvel Studios Boss Kevin Feige recentlyconfirmed that Daredevil will be all throughout the MCUmoving forward in phase four.

For Cox, getting a chance to tap into the role again inSpider-Man: No Way Homeand be a part of the film’s great success was a no-brainer, even if it was only for a brief scene. “I got a phone call saying, ‘Do you want to come back? Do you want to be in Spider-Man?’ and I was like, ‘Obviously, yeah! That would be amazing. I’m thrilled. I’d love to do that,'” Cox said of getting a call back in mid-2020. “They said ‘Great, we’ll be in touch.’ And then I didn’t hear anything for, like, two months! I did get to the point where I was like, ‘Did I dream this?’ – I definitely got to the point where I was, like, ‘I don’t know what’s gonna happen.’ But then I got a follow-up phone call.”

Cox isn’t the only one reprising his role from the acclaimed Netflix series. Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin made his MCU debut inHawkeye’s season finale, where it is revealed that Kate Bishop’s mother, Eleanor, has been secretly working for the crime boss for many years. Most likely to play a prominent role in the upcoming spin-off seriesEcho(which is based on Alaqua Cox’s Maya Lopez character fromHawkeye), fans will be seeing a lot of D’Onofrio as well, and could potentially seeDaredevil and Kingpin cross paths very soon.
