The worldCyberpunk 2077belongsin is very rich, complex, and deep. Building its grounds on an intricately craftedtabletop game series, there is a ton of lore for the video game to set up on. WhileCyberpunk 2077already incorporates many of the things that were introduced in the tabletop games, there is still so much more they can bring into the fold, especially with characters.

Cyberpunk 2077 Arasaka Corporatiion

The game already introduced major characters from the series such as the Arasaka family,Johnny Silverhand, andAlt Cunningham, just to name a few. IfCyberpunk 2077were ever to move forward and expand as a game series, there are still a handful of characters from the tabletop games they can introduce in the future.

9Kei Arasaka

Kei Arasaka isSaburo Arasaka’s eldest son. At just the age of 20, Kei became the CEO ofArasaka Corporation, taking over after his father retired for the first time. Kei, however, seemingly died during the Fourth Corporate War by uploading his consciousness into a digital prison using the Soulkiller program, thus ending his life.

Considering this, though, there’s still a possibility for Kei to be brought back in the future in the form of an engram, like what the developers did with Johnny Silverhand.

8Empress Jinkyoku Tenno

Jinkyoku Tenno became the 128th Empress of Japan in theCyberpunkuniverse at just the age of 13, making her the youngest to ever ascend the throne. Although not much is said about her in 2077, it can be assumed that the empress is still alive around the time of the events of the game.

If the game were to ever explore the territories of Japan in the future, introducing the empress would be a fun move considering how popular she is with the general public.

7Junko Nishimura

Junko Nishimura is another character the game can introduce if they were ever to explore the territories of Japan in the future. Junko Nishimura is one of Japan’s most famous Solos. Her character is distinguished as being one of the only police officers in Japan to have not been bought by Arasaka. In fact, her drive is to expose corrupt corporate entities.

Junko being an anti-corporate police officer would fit well with the themes ofCyberpunk 2077.She would be really old by 2077, but her stories could still make for interesting moments.

6Lucas Harford

Lucas Harford is the CEO of Militech. Militech has had a long and complicated history with Arasaka. Even though Militech is often mentioned inCyberpunk 2077,they don’t really play a massive role in the game’s story.

Lucas Harford is also mentioned inCyberpunk 2077,but he hasn’t made an appearance yet. If CD Projekt Red were to ever expand Militech’s role in the future story, introducing Lucas Harford could be one of the steps they’ll take.

5Elizabeth Kress

Elizabeth Kress is a powerful figure in the lore of theCyberpunkuniverse. Elizabeth Kress is the former president of Militech. Not only that, but she was also the president of the New United States of America from 2019 to 2069.

She played a major role in keeping the NUSA during the Fourth Corporate War. Thanks to her ties with Militech, she also managed to turn the NUSA into a functional dictatorship. After the war, Elizabeth Kress stepped down as the president of the NUSA and was followed by another Militech CEO, Rosalind Myers.

4Trace Santiago

Trace Santiago is the son of the famed Santiago Aldecaldo, more commonly known as Nomad Santiago. Trace’s father was the leader of the Aldecaldos clan. Unlike his father, though, Trace didn’t want to lead the Nomad clan nor become a mercenary. He instead wanted to carve his own path and he found his calling in the world of media.

Cyberpunk 2077 Militech Operation

Trace used to work with legitimate outlets for a time, but found that he was always outcast by “less ethnic” reporters. This made him go solo, uploading his reports directly to the Data Pool instead. Throughout his career, Trace has exposed various information regarding the Fourth Corporate War and the NUSA’s involvement in the bombing of Night City. Trace’s whereabouts are unknown in 2077, but there is a portrait of him, along with other netrunners, in the Afterlife bar.

3Angel

Angel is a character that was introduced inCyberpunk RED.She is a Los Almos technician, often described as being “ethereally beautiful.” Her character is engulfed in mystery. Her story at the end of the Black Dog story inCyberpunk REDsuggests that her real identity is either Alt Cunningham, or she’s related to her in some way.

If it is the latter, her appearance in the future would make sense for the story ofCyberpunk 2077as a whole, with her being one of the only few characters with ties to Alt Cunningham, aside from Johnny Silverhand.

2Miriam Night

Miriam Night is the former CEO of the Night Corp, formerly known as Night International, then Night Foundation. She is the widow of Richard Night, the man responsible for creating Night City. After the death of her husband, Miriam Night took over the company to ensure the welfare of Night City.

At some point during the 2020s, Miriam stepped down from her role as the CEO of the company. Night Corp is still a fairly influential entity in Night City, but they’ve maintained a more secretive facade. Miriam Night’s appearance in a futureCyberpunk 2077game. could also introduce a bigger backstory to the foundation of Night City

1Morgan Blackhand

Morgan Blackhand is what’s known as a “Solo’s Solo.” He is the most reputable mercenary in theCyberpunkuniverse. Unlike most mercenaries, Blackhand is able to capture targets alive instead of simply killing them. He has no ulterior motives aside from completing the jobs assigned to him, and he will always go for the highest bidder. His most distinguishing feature is his black-chrome cyberlimb arm.

Judging by his reputation and legendary status, it is very surprising that Morgan Blackhand is yet to make an appearance. He is even the Solo player of Mike Pondsmith, the creator of the series,inCyberpunk 2020.There are also references to Morgan Blackhand in the game, so perhaps he will make an appearance in a future game or DLC.
