Among those changes was the introduction of Cyberware Capacity, a gameplay system that limits the technology that V can install into their body. Cyberpunk 2077: How to Raise Cyberware Capacity Limit
Level Up
The most consistent way of increasing Cyberware Capacity is to raise V’s level, as players will receive+3 Cyberware Capacityevery time that they level up. While this may not seem like a particularly significant amount, it definitely adds up, and players that want to install the best chrome that the game has to offer should put some real effort towardleveling up inCyberpunk 2077.

Perks
Players that want to maximize their Cyberware Capacity should look into unlocking theRenaissance Punk perk, which is found at thebottom of the Technical Ability tree. Indeed, this perks grants+4 Cyberware Capacity for each Attribute at 9 or higher, giving maxed out characters a significant 20 point boost to their limit.
TheEdgerunner perkthat appears at thetop of theTechnical Ability treealso effectively gives players50 additional Cyberware Capacity pointson top of what they have earned by other means. There is a notable drawback to this perk, though, asCyberpunk 2077’s Vwill have -0.5% Max Health for each additional point that is used. Even still, fans that want to go all in on chrome should definitely consider picking up Edgerunner.
Engineer Skill
Players will receivefive Cyberware Capacityat Engineer Level 5 and another10 Cyberware Capacityat Engineer Level 30. While fans that pursue optional content are likely to reach those levels through standard gameplay, players that want to expedite the process should focus on disabling devices, throwing grenades, and scoring kills with Techweapons inCyberpunk 2077.
Cyberware Capacity Shards
The final way to increase Cyberware Capacity is to obtainCyberware Capacity Shards, Progression Shards that permanently raise the limit by a designated amount. To obtain these Shards,Cyberpunk 2077playerswill need to be diligent about lootingbodies and containers, as they have a chance to appear on and in them. That said, the drop rate for Cyberware Capacity Shards seems to be quite low, and fans should not expect to loot them very often.
