Update:Bungie has been able to resolve the connection issues with theDestiny 2Witch Queen raid and services are now working as normal.

Bungie released theDestiny 2Witch Queen expansion late last month to rave reviews, with many fans praising it as one of the game’s best expansions to date. Now thatDestiny 2players have had time to complete the Witch Queen campaign, they’re ready to tackle the newly-added Vow of the Disciple raid. Unfortunately, it seems that theDestiny 2Vow of the Disciple raid is suffering from connection issues at the time of this writing.

Destiny 2players trying to play thenew Witch Queen raidare being hit with a variety of error codes and are generally finding it impossible to participate. Some of theDestiny 2error codes players are experiencing while trying to access the new raid include ANTEATER, GUITAR, and BAT. Bungie has acknowledged the problems on Twitter, asking fans to stay tuned for updates. Unfortunately, a timetable for when theseDestiny 2Witch Queen raid errors will be resolved was not provided.

It’s not uncommon for major newDestiny 2content drops to suffer from connection issues. Usually this is due to a flood of players all trying to jump into the game at once, so maybe a queue system could be set up to fix the problem.Destiny 2queueswere used when the Witch Queen expansion first launched to alleviate some of its launch problems, but since we don’t actually know what’s causing the Vow of the Disciple raid connection issues, it’s hard to say if that solution would work here as well.

TheDestiny 2Vow of the Disciple raid connection issues throw a wrench in the plans of anyone who was hoping to tackle it today and come away as World’s First. But while the connection problems persist,Destiny 2fans can continue preparing for the raid, keeping in mind theExotics that are banned from Vow of the Disciplewhile putting together the loadouts that work best for them.
