After a number of weeks,Destiny 2players can finally finish off the exotic questline that has been continously going since Week 1. A Hollow Coronation wraps up this week, culminating with theexotic trace rifle known as Ager’s Scepter, a weapon originally meant for Uldren Sov. Better yet, the catalyst for the stasis powered weapon arrives next week at reset, with a cahnce to drop inside of Wayfinder’s Troves from the Astral Alignment activity.
In addition to Ager’s Scepter, this weekend also brings back Trials of Osiris, following its very positive arrival after week one. Not only did the complete revamp of the PvP mode work out for Bungie by massive increasing the player base, but even more changes are on the way this weekend. These quality of life updates bring a flawless matchmaking pool for those players who have achieved 7 wins as well as help for players that have experienced a string of blowout losses.

Along with Trials of Osiris, the weekend exotic gear merchant Xur has once again made his return toDestiny 2with his newly expanded inventory. Follow this guide for his most current weekend location, news on his exotic cypher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic gear he’s brought for the weekend of June 21, 2025.

Where is Xur?
This weekend, Xur can be found at the Tower..
As usual, fast travel to the main Tower location and head left into the Hangar. Once there, take another left and move past the Dead Orbit section to find a metal staircase. Move up the stairs to find Xur on a platform overlooking the mountain range off in the distance.
Class Armor and Exotic Cypher
While Xur’s role is essentially the same as it was prior to the Beyond Light expansion, the exotic merchant also has weekly quests that players can acquire to unlock an exotic cypher. Not only are these required to purchase a second fated engram, but they’re necessary toacquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cypher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clanmates or finishing more challenging activities.
With Season 15, Xur is now selling even more gear outside of his usual content. In addition to his normal exotic gear, Xur now has Legendary Weapons and Armor for sale in exchange for Legendary Shards and Glimmer. Better yet, the stat rolls are pretty solid on the Black Armor gear for this week.

Exotic Armor
Geomag Stabilizers - Warlock leg armor
The Geomag Stabilizers are back in stock and remain an incredibly valuable exotic forWarlocks using Chaos Reach. The intrinsic perk on this item is called Close Enough which now has the super’s duration extended as the player damages targets. Just like the Hunter exotic this week, Bungie has made a few adjustments to the Geomags
While not as convenient as it used to be, the item is still valuable for being able to extend the duration of Chaos Reach. Naturally, this makes it a solid exotic item and one that all Chaos Reachers should have in their inventory. It also helps that the stat roll for this week is quite good.
Arc Enhanced. Stat Values:
Shards of Galanor - Hunter gauntlets
What was once one of the strongest Hunter exotic gear pieces in the game, has been adjusted a number of times since these were last featured by Xur. While still good,Bungie placed a hard cap on the amount of super energy regainedby certain exotic armor, including the Shards of Galanor. This effectively prevents them from undermining some of the more difficult content in the game.
It’s exotic perk Sharp Edges return super energy to the player for any hits and kills made with the thrown blades during the super. It’s a solid Hunter exotic for those who like to run Way of a Thousand Cuts as it does provide a way to get a second super ability faster. While the roll isn’t quite as good as the Warlock and Titan items this week, it’s still a solid gear piece.
Solar Enhanced. Stat Values:
One-Eyed Mask - Titan helmet
At one point, this was the go to exotic for all things PvP and Crucible related for Titans. In fact, it quickly became a scourge for Hunter and Warlock classes, so much so, thatBungie ultimately nerfed the popular One-Eyed Maskmaking it not quite as effective as it once was. Still, the roll this week is a 67 and quite good. It may be worth a look for those who are looking for better stats on it.
The reason this item is a great Crucible item is due to its perk Vengeance. Any enemy that damages the wearer becomes highlighted and if the player can kill the marked player, they get an overshield. The stat roll comes in at 62 and while the item may not be as powerful as it was, it’s still worth a purchase.
Void Enhanced. Stat Values:
Exotic Weapon
Merciless is a heavy weapon that has high damage output, especially against a single target. It’s a solid choice regardless of the mode, though Nightfalls and strikes make it a powerful choice. It also helps that Season of the Lost is very fusion rifle friendly, so running this weapon may be more of a viable choice thanks tothe Particle Deconstruction mod.
Conserve Momentum continually charges the weapon faster when players get non-lethal hits, with the cycle resetting once the final kill is achieved. Pair that with its other perk, Impetus, players gain increased damage for a short time after quickly reloading following a kill.
