InDisney Dreamlight Valley, players can embark on a multitude of quests by building friendships with the residents of the Valley. By offering gifts, sharing meals, andteaming up for village tasks, players can increase their Friendship levels and unlock additional quests. Among the notable characters inDreamlight Valleyare Anna,Kristoff, and Olaf from the beloved movieFrozen. Each of these characters has their own unique quest series that players can assist with.
In Olaf’s Friendship quest line, which starts at Friendship Level 2 with“A Place for Joy,”players learn that he is eager to organize a play for the residents of the valley. After setting up the stage and choosing a suitable heroic tale in the previous quest, “A Story To Tell,” it’s time to cast the roles for the show. Here’s a step-by-step guide on completing the quest, “The Role of a Lifetime,” inDisney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Start “The Role of a Lifetime”
To unlock the"The Role of a Lifetime"quest, players need to reachFriendship Level 7with Olaf, the fan-favorite little snowman from Disney’sFrozen. Additionally, the player must have unlocked bothAnnaandBuzz Lightyearand welcomed them into the valley. The player must also have completed Olaf’s previous Friendship quest,“A Story To Tell,“which is unlocked at Friendship Level 4.
How to Complete “The Role of a Lifetime”
In the first part of the quest, players must gather materials for Olaf to put his ideas on paper. The following items are required:

After crafting these items, players should findDonald Duckand ask him to transcribe his story. Donald becomes annoyed, unsurprisingly, considering the task of writing the story and starring in the play too burdensome, especially after having already told Olaf his story multiple times.

Next, players must return to Olaf and deliver the unfortunate news: Olaf will have to write down Donald’s story by himself and find someone to play the role of Donald Duck in the stage show. Olaf remains positive, as expected, and decides to audition villagers for the role, leading into the next part of the quest.
The player and Olaf decide to auditionresidents of the villagebased on the traits they believe capture the spirit of Donald Duck. For this part of the quest, the player needs to locate and speak with the following villagers:
While Buzz and Scrooge decline the opportunity to audition,Anna steps upand agrees to try out for the role of Donald Duck. Players should wait for Anna and Olaf to meet and listen to the audition. The conversation will be triggered only when they are outdoors, so make sure to head outside if necessary and follow Olaf.
Anna impresses Olaf with her audition and is cast as Donald Duck in Olaf’s play. Speaking with Olaf completes the quest, “The Role of a Lifetime.”
