Popular YouTube streamer Dr Disrespect has thrown shade atCall of Duty: Warzone 2, insulting the game and those who do well at it. Dr Disrespect has never been shy about letting his opinions be known, and he’svoiced his views onCall of Duty: Warzone 2frequently since its launch in November.
It didn’t take long afterCall of Duty: Warzone 2’s launch for Dr Disrespect to start picking it apart. At first, he criticized the battle royale’s looting system, and then he offered an explanation onhow he would improve theWarzone 2experience. More recently, Dr Disrespect’s opinion on the game seems to have soured quite a bit, if a rant railing against the game during one of his latest streams is any indication.

The YouTube stream in question is now set to private, but in it, Dr Disrespect was killed by enemy players using RPKs and then proceeded to criticizeCall of Duty: Warzone 2for being a “no skill” game. Dr Disrespect said that it was “crazy” how “brainless gamers” are allowed to win fights inWarzone 2. He complimentedWarzone 2’s “foundation,” but said, “Everything surrounding the foundation is atrocious.”
Dr Disrespect is far from the only streamer and/or professional player that hascomplained aboutCall of Duty: Warzone 2. Many top level players have complained that the game doesn’t require as much as kill as its predecessor and that it caters to more casual gamers. Whether there’s truth to that or not is up for debate, but it’s clear that many influential streamers andCall of Dutyplayers are not happy with the current state of the game. They are not necessarilyWarzone 2’s primary audience, though, if the game is able to maintain a large playerbase despite these complaints, it doesn’t seem like Activision, Infinity Ward, or Raven Software will want to address these kinds of complaints.
While Dr Disrespect has quit playingCall of Duty: Warzone 2for now, it’s highly likely that the Two-Time will return to the game in the near future.Dr Disrespect is known for rage-quitting gamesand even going as far as to uninstall them from his PC, only to re-download them and play them again later. ConsideringWarzone 2’s immense popularity, chances are good that he will do the same for the latestCall of Dutybattle royale.
