Elden Ringcame out over two months ago, and players are still discovering new things scattered throughout the world. A user noticed thatShrimp Monsters inElden Ringhave tiny human hands attached to them, and it’s arguably not the most horrific design in the game. Many small details are probably yet to be discovered, and they will perhaps one day expand uponElden Ring’s profound lore. One player recently found a sad detail about the Jellyfish summon and her sister.

Reddit user FreeWatercressSalad shared an image of two gravestones inElden Ring. The shared picture displays a message that says Aurelia and sister Aureliette lie there and never saw the stars. The user discovered the gravestones in a cemetery at theMountaintops of the Giants inElden Ring. Players can find the Jellyfish summon reasonably early in the game, but they only encounter Aureliette much later.
Players need to travel to Stargazers' Ruins, and they will hear a girl’s voice looking for a sister. After usingSpirit Jellyfish Ashes and summoning Aurelia, her sister mentions that they should see the stars together, with them disappearing afterward and opening the seal to the underground area. This short conversation gives context to the message on the gravestones, as they never got to fulfill their goal.
The Jellyfish is apopular summon inElden Ring, so this little detail can be disheartening for many fans. One user found the grave right after reuniting the sisters and commends FromSoftware for telling a beautiful short story without having to use extensive dialogue. Other fans also share their love for this story, with many players feeling glad that they were able to bring them together. On the other hand, one user can’t believe that FromSoftware decided to use similar names for the sisters. Some claim that they could be twins, so it makes sense for their parents to give them similar-sounding names.
Elden Ringhas an overall sad tone, and the story of Aurelia and Aureliette fits perfectly with the rest of the game. Players can take on several other NPC quests found throughout the game, with many having similarly heart-wrenching storylines.
Elden Ringis out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
