The latest collaboration withFall Guyswas announced at this year’s The Game Awards Show, alongside a host of other big announcements. It was announced that the next crossover costumes will be based on the frightfully festive Tim Burton’sThe Nightmare Before Christmas.

The Nightmare Before Christmasis a stop motion film released in 1993, being a certified Disney cult classic for many Disney fans. Part of it is due to the movie encompassing both a Halloween and Christmas spirit to it, even though both holidays are so much different from each other. Still the character designs, charm, and themes are carried throughout the film, with the protagonist Jack Skellington being one of the most iconic and memorable. This makes him one of the perfect characters to base a costume off of forFall Guys.
The trailer showed off the purchasable costumes that take inspiration from the movie’s setting and characters, showing off the beans dressed in costumes inspired by Jack Skellington, Sally, and the Mayor of Halloweentown. There will also be a costume based on Jack donning Santa’s outfit, complete with a beard and hat. Not only that,Fall Guyswill be receiving a festive makeover, with the game’s aesthetics taking on a more wintery appearance, complete with crumbling ice tiles and snowfall.
To complete thisNightmare Before Christmas-themed crossover, a special series of challenges known as Santa Jack’s Challenge will be running later this month, where player can earn kudos to purchase the costume parts. Players will be able to participate in these challenges between December 16 to 27, with a chance to get any one of these costume parts. Once that event is concluded, a new event known as Guestravanganza will be running where players can obtain various parts ofGuest Character Costumes forFall Guysthat will be running until January 3rd.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockoutis available now for PC and PS4, with Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S versions currently scheduled to release later this year.
