This article contains spoilers for Five Nights at Freddy’s.
6It’s Me
When Mike enters the security office, audiences might be able to spot a mirror, coated in dust. This mirror has had a finger wipe away the dust to spell out “It’s me”. This is not only seen on Foxy’s sign when he leaves Pirate Cove, nor is it only seen on the wall in bloody handwriting. It’s seen throughout hallucinations and jumpscares that will catch the player, flashing the player’s screen with darkness with bold “IT’S ME” text popping up.
It’s hard to spot, and one of the bestFive Nights at Freddy’seaster eggs is easy to miss for those who are not paying attention to the background, or to those who are not too familiar with it. Golden Freddy is often the result of strange and obscure easter eggs inFive Nights at Freddy’s, and it’s nice to see the “It’s me” text.

5Sparky The Dog
TheFive Nights at Freddy’scommunity loves its lore, and the fandom often embraces gaming urban legends, such as Sparky the Dog. Sparky was one of the earliest recorded hoaxes inFive Nights at Freddy’s, and it featured many photoshops of ascary dog animatronicin the original game. This animatronic may have been fake, but Sparky the Dog actually makes a canon appearance in the movie.
Sparky is also the name of a diner that appears in the movie, which is an obvious reference to the fake animatronic. However, the fact that audiences can actually spot Sparky the Dog is brilliant, although his model is practically torn apart and dismantled. Yet, it’s hard to miss the dog ears and the collar.

4“Catch You On The Flip Side”
Phone Guy is one of the most beloved and wholesome characters inFive Nights at Freddy’swho will often act as the tutorial guide, helping the new security guard to get through the night and figure out how to keep the “quirky” animatronics at bay. Phone Guy sadly doesn’t make an appearance inFive Nights at Freddy’s, but one of his lines is certainly referenced with Steve Raglan, the career counselor who hires Mike to starta job at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place.
Steve Raglan says with a cheery smile, “Catch you on the flip side!” which is in reference to a line from The Phone Guy, in which the character says on the phone “See you on the flip side.” It’s a real shame that Phone Guy doesn’t make an appearance, but there’s always potential for aFive Nights at Freddy’s2.

3YouTuber Cameo Fest
There’s a lovely synergy that theFive Nights at Freddy’sseries has with its community, and that’s how many YouTubers are responsible for upholding the popularity and theories surroundingeveryFive Nights at Freddy’sgame. Many YouTubers and other content creators who have a known history withFive Nights at Freddy’sappear in the film, except, sadly, Markiplier, who couldn’t make the time due to scheduling conflicts.
Here’s all YouTuber cameos inFive Nights at Freddy’sand the characters that they play:

2Circus Baby Animatronic
There’s a discarded doll animatronic in the backrooms of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place that seems fairly different from the others. It does not have an animal design and is noted for its rosy cheeks and humanoid appearance. This animatronic is not just a random addition but is actually the Circus Babyanimatronic fromFive Nights at Freddy’sSister Location.
Seeing this animatronic is a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. It’s great to see the first film hark back to the games, even when the films haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of the animatronics available. It’s always nice to see them prepare in advance and keep these easter eggs for hardcore fans.

1Five Nights At Freddy’s Post-Credits Scene
The opening credits and end credits ofFive Nights at Freddy’scontain a few easter eggs. Most notable are the visuals, which feature 8-bitsegments from Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place, involving the animatronics, children, and the murderous Yellow Rabbit. However, there lies another easter egg in the end credits songFive Nights at Freddy’s, sung by The Living Tombstone. Yet, the most interesting easter egg comes after the credits roll in theFive Nights at Freddy’spost-credits scene.
Audio is taken from one ofFive Nights at Freddy’s2’s minigames, in which creepy groaning can be heard. However, this groaning is actually a voice spelling out letters. Combining the letters in order spells out “COME FIND ME”, which is a creepy and smart way to tease a sequelto the movie version ofFive Nights at Freddy’s2. But, come find who? William Afton? Garrett Schmidt? Or perhaps more children stuffed in animatronics…
