Fortniteis constantly rolling out new quests for players to tackle, giving them various tasks to complete around the island in exchange for large chunks of XP or cosmetic rewards. Despite having just passed five years in age,Fortnitearguably has more quest content packed into the game than ever before, which includes catching at least three seconds of air while driving a motorboat.

Epic Games' enduringly popular free-to-play battle royale is currently in the midst of its Chapter 3 Season 3. The title recently received itsmajor No Sweat Summer update, which updated a few POIs, added multiple new quest lines (including this one), cosmetics, and more.

How to Catch 3 Seconds of Air While Driving a Motorboat

While theFortnitequest directive seems to be clear enough, this task is something that could be considered easier said than done. Players will obviously need to head to a body of water to find a boat, the biggest of which would be the bay east of Sanctuary, wherethe newly established boat race circuitis located.

However, simply jumping the ramps is next to impossible to get enough airtime. Players can try two different methods alternatively: either find a Rift on one of the nearby islands or get a boat close enough to catch the updraft surrounding Mighty Monument.

Both methods require some determination and boosting over dry land, but either should give plenty of airtime to complete the quest.

However, there is another location that can be used to complete the quest, and one that may be less contested. Players can head to Loot Lake, where they can grab a boat and find a Launch Pad in the center. Drive across the platform at full standard speed with the boat, and hit the boost while airborne. The combined effort should give players the three seconds of air while driving a motorboat needed to complete the quest.

Should players take the Loot Lake route instead of the boat race circuit one, they can then head east to Coney Crossroads, the prime location for completingthe quest of ringing a doorbell until it breaks. Also part ofFortnite’s No Sweat Summer quest line, players must ring a total of three different doorbells around the map.

There are just a handful of other valid locations with any doorbells, and the only other location with enough doorbells is Greasy Grove, which isn’t the best area for catching three seconds of air in a motorboat.

Of course, if fans want to try to complete the quest “without being seen,” they can acquirethe new John Cena skin, which comes complete with the U Can’t C Me Emote.

Fortniteis free-to-play for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
