Fortnite’s Halloween event this year is still going strong with weekly spooky-themed punchcard quests, decorations on the battle royale island, and much more. One of the new questlines this week comes from The Cube Queen herself, and there are a couple of challenges in there for players to complete for some extra XP. One of the quests requiresFortniteplayers to shakedown an enemy opponent twice, and while that may sound like it’ll take some time, there’s a more straightforward method to get it done fast.
How to Shakedown Opponents in Fortnite
Whenever aFortniteplayer shoots down an enemy player, they will fall to the ground and can be continued to be attacked until they’re finally defeated. However, a player can also go close to the fallen player and press a button to perform a shakedown on them. This will allow the player to temporarily see the nearby locations of the fallen player’s teammates. This also works on AI enemies inFortnite, such as the IO guards, and that’s where the easy method comes into play for completing this specific quest from the Cube Queen.

Easy Way to Shakedown Two Opponents in Fortnite
While players can definitely shoot down other players during a match and then shake them down, it’s much easier to just shakedown some of theIO guards on the map. Their equipped weaponry typically isn’t anything to be scared of, so players can easily knock them down. The quest will still count as completed if players shakedown IO guards, so there’s no need to worry about finding human opponents.
There are several locations where IO guards can be found, but an easy place to find a bunch of them is overnear Catty Corner. If players head southeast of the named point of interest, they’ll run into an IO-guarded base. Shoot one of the guards, and perform a shakedown. It might be best to pick up an enemy and then carry them to safety before doing a shakedown, as the other guards might start shooting and can mess with the quest.
Once players perform a shakedown twice, they will finally complete the quest and continue working on the rest of the Cube Queen’s challenges.
