No one can argue that Jon Snow was a very crucial character inGame of Thrones, so much so that the man was openly admitting that he wished he was never brought back to life due to all the work he had to keep doing and battles he faced. It’s obvious by the end of the series the man was exhausted. And while Jon Snow was a great character forGame of Thrones, at the very end of the show fans watched him cross the Wall and venture out into the far North.

And though many thought that was the end to all beloved characters, there is now an HBO series in the works to follow Jon Snow through the North. There are many things that could happen to him, and while it might be interesting to see where his life goes, there are several other characters that might have a more interesting story than Jon Snow. Here are some of those characters that fans might want to see more than Jon Snow.

There will be spoilers!

4Samwell Tarly

Even though he was pretty much teased and bullied for not ‘looking the part’ of fighter, Samwell was a pretty big player in theGame of Thrones. During his studies, he was able to teach the world about how to defeat the White Walkers and the Night King. While he wasn’t that much of a fighter, he was still a hero. And the end of the show did him justice by allowing him to follow his dreams of getting his chains to become a maester.

Although it might not be the most interesting storyline that everyone would want to follow, but it would be an amazing way for fans to get more lore out of the world the show is set in. Sam is a fighter enough, and has grown in confidence to earn his place in the world. And who doesn’t enjoy watching Sam protect Gilly and little Sam as good as he can? There could be a lot more to the story by learning about the world than watching Jon Snow brood in the North.

3Sansa Stark

Out of all the Stark family, Sansa isn’t a high choice when it comes to her end story. She did get what she wanted, to rule over her home and have it separate from the rest of the Kingdoms, and while it might be a quiet and relaxed ruling,it could still be interesting to see what Sansa does, and who might stand up to her. Having a woman in that role could be empowering and exhausting. The North has her back, but of course there will be some men who think they can do a better job than her.

game of thrones tyrion lannister

There have been a lot of hate towards Sansa in the show because she was pretty weak at the start. While most characters grew and shifted personalities, Sansa was definitely the type of character that was slowly changing, and hid it very well. It wasn’t until she traveled with Littlefinger that she truly showed any change. From a quiet, obediant girl to a stone-faced, harsh woman, it would be interesting to watch the North and her life.

2Tyrion Lannister

As the world’s favorite Lannister, Tyrion is an amazing characterto watch on day-to-day life. Somehow the man was able to truly talk his way out of every situation that he got himself in without dying even to the bitter end, even while being drunk for most of it. This legend would have a fantastic storyline, especially with him still being at King’s Landing, as hand of the King, Bran himself.

And while some might want Bran to be on this list today, having the focus be on Tyrion would be a lot better than watching Bran. Is it because Bran ending up as King was incredibly infuriating? Maybe. But it’s mostly because Tyrion has amazing dialogue, great wit, and is extremely intelligent when it comes to the world’s politics, meaning he can direct Bran through anything that comes his way… even though he can pretty much see what’s coming anyway.

game of thrones arya stark

1Arya Stark

For a royal girl in the middle of a continent that was being ripped apart by war, Arya managed to do the most with her life. Not only did she hide inplain sight by simply wearing boy clothes and cut hair, but she traveled everywhere she could and even learned how to be a Faceless Man while everything was falling apart back at her home. While some might question why she went on a huge journey only for it to show in a few scenes, she really lived an interesting, hellish life.

At the end of the show, it’s really fitting for Arya Stark to live her dreamof sailing out into the ocean to find what’s truly out there. And out of everyone in the series, it seems as though her adventures, her training and personality seems the most interesting out of them all. Fans didn’t truly see her skills towards the end of the show due to how rushed the end was, so it seems appropriate for fans to catch more of Arya in the future. Granted, that would mean creating even more world-building because George R.R. Martin might not have plans whatever is West of Westeros, but with if he ever has any ideas, they need to be showed on the big screen.
