One inventiveThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer has recently taken online to share a genius land vehicle design that utilizes three steering wheel equivalents. Their inspired creation testifies tohow muchTears of the Kingdom’sbuilding meta has developedsince the latestZeldagame launched in mid-May.
Of all theZonai devices thatTears of the Kingdomoffersto players, the Steering Stick is the game’s most universally useful component. As the only module that allows Link to control his custom-built contraptions, this gizmo has been a staple of pretty much every car, ship, aircraft, and mech that the fandom constructed to date.

While its core functionality makes it a necessary part of anyTears of the Kingdomvehicle, it turns out that the Steering Stick has much more to offer. This was recently illustrated by Reddit user rshotmaker, who put together a five-wheel ride that they dubbed the “RumbleBreaker,” presumably due to its ability to consistently smash through angry mobs. Their three-minute video demonstration of the contraption shows it doing just that in a rather amusing fashion, but the whimsical style of the clip shouldn’t take away from the fact that the RumbleBreaker is a serious engineering marvel.
The car itself consists of five Zonai Small Wheels, one Portable Pot, and three Steering Sticks. The most of the engineering heavy-lifting here is done by that trio of steering wheel equivalents, which has been arranged to form a cockpit. The most immediate benefit of that shape is that it provides Link with immense damage protection, as Steering Sticks happen to be some of the most durable Zonai devices inTears of the Kingdom. Additionally, the rearmost rod is positioned outward to prevent enemies from entering the blind spot of whatever Construct Head turret the player decides to mount on the car’s spacious modular hood.
Finally, the front Steering Stick completes the cradle-like shape of the vehicle, which was designed to restrict component movement and force the cooking pot beneath the makeshift chassis to act as a sort of rudimentary suspension. As a result, the RumbleBreaker boasts impressive maneuverability across even the roughest of terrains. Seeing how its impressive feature set requires just nine parts in total, this newly shared ride is nothing if not a masterclass inusingTears of the Kingdom’sZonai devices.
While its creator positioned some modules using stake nudging, aTears of the Kingdomtrick that can create invisible connections between objects, they insisted that doing so is entirely optional and only offers minor performance benefits. Regardless of how it’s constructed, RumbleBreaker’s modest parts list, impressive maneuverability, and outstanding battery efficiency make it “about as good as small wheel cars get,” its inventor concluded.
