It’s safe to say that the addition of a new major region inGenshin Impactis the main event in the community since it introduces tons of new content including new playable units, weapons, quests, and storylines. So far, the game has added four new characters to the roster and many more are expected to arrive in the upcoming months. One of these characters is expected to be the mysterious Electro user Clorinde.

A Reddit user by the name SSGPanos has created an interesting fan-made concept showing a modern design of the popular Fontaine character Clorinde. At the moment, this character serves as a quest-exclusive NPC that appears in Chapter IV of the new Archon Quest, which started with the arrival of the new major region. Fans seem to like this concept as the post reached over 600 upvotes on the game’s main subReddit with many comments praising the creator’s attention to every little detail. SSGPanos is known in the community for creating similar projects that always get a lot of attention and one of their recent creations featuredthe popular Hydro Archon Furina.
Some fans have pointed out that the character would blend in perfectly in other games that have a futuristic design such as Cyberpunk 2077. Even though Clorinde will almost certainly end up becoming aplayable character inGenshin Impact, there is not a lot of information about this character.
She belongs to the Champion Duelists which is a special group of skilled fighters in Fontaine. Any individual on trial in the Hydro nation can defend their honor by requesting a duel in which they will face one of the characters that belongs to this group. The recently addedChief Justice of Fontaine known as Neuvillettehas mentioned that Clorinde’s peerless skills have made her the most powerful duelist in the whole nation.
When it comes to her power on the field, she can be seen wearing an Electro Vision and her weapon of choice seems to be the sword. However, in one ofClorinda’s appearances in the teaser videos, she can be seen wielding a gun, which led many players to believe that this weapon will be part of her in-game kit.
Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
