Investigating the rear of the library inGenshin Impactis among the first tasks players willcome across on their journey in Enkanomiya. After diving deep into the area, it takes a while before people finally find remnants of the ancient civilization. The second large building they’ll come across turns out to be a library. Players have to first activate a mechanism before they can enter the place. Then, if they walk to the upper floor, players will meet a suspicious scholar called Enjou.

Enjou claims to be fluent in the ancient language of Enkanomiya and says that he’s there to assist the “hero” in finishing the trial. As the first task, the Traveler must find an item called Golden Bridle. The scholar says that this treasure can be found nearby, just behind the library.
However, once players reach the mentioned area, they’ll soon find that the Golden Bridle is hidden behind some mechanisms. To properlyinvestigate the rear of the library and solve the puzzle,Genshin Impactplayers can follow this guide.
How To Investigate The Rear Of The Library In Genshin Impact
After arriving at the marked spot, players willfind a small building with a chest inside. However, the road to access the box is blocked so they have to find a method to open the way. To do that, players have to hit theTriangular Mechanismthat’s available around the place.
The first one players need totrigger is the mechanism on the east. To do so, simply hit it with any kind of attack. Afterward, a small cutscene will play, showcasing that a wall has shifted from its place.
Next,walk to the southern part of the buildingand find the second Triangular Mechanism. Just like before, hit it with any attack to trigger the cutscene.
If players did this correctly, their quest prompt will change to, “Obtain the Golden Bridle.” When this happens, simply walk inside the building and follow the hallway. Eventually, players will arrive in a small room with a chest sitting inside.
Opening thisGenshin Impactchest will grant typical Exquisite Chest rewards, along with the needed quest item,Dull Golden Bridle. After this, players have to go back to the library and speak toEnjou. The scholar will then ask the Traveler to meet him inDainichi Mikoshi. However, he didn’t give much clue on how to reach the place he refers to.
Luckily,Genshin Impacthints the spotsplayers need to set foot to. Eventually, Enjou can be found on a broken bridge of Dainichi Mikoshi. This task will require players to go around the area, even to the point of circling a different island in the south.
Fortunately, though, this hassle proves to be worth it as Enjou soon leads players to the most important mechanism of Enkanomiya. This machine will allow people to change the time in the area, fromWhitenighttoEvernight, and vice versa. Switching the time will trigger many different things, but the most notable one is the availability of some puzzles.
