A new leak fromGenshin Impacthas confirmed the finalized banner order for Version 4.4, expected to bring a pair of new characters alongside several re-runs. Version 4.4’s debut will reportedly introduce a plethora of new content to the massively popular RPG, featuring both a new area to explore and new enemies to challenge. The update is heavily rumored to addthe “Chenyu Vale” sub-region of Liyueto the in-game map, introducing a new village to the China-themed region and connecting the region to Fontaine. Version 4.4 is also expected to bring plenty of popular characters with its banners.

With the release of Version 4.3 last week, HoYoverse confirmed the two new characters that will be coming toGenshin Impactwith the following Version 4.4 update. Xianyun will joinGenshin Impactas Version 4.4’s featured five-star character, coming as the long-awaited playable version of Liyue adeptus Cloud Retainer. The update will also add Gaming as a new four-star Pyro unit, previously leaked through teased concept art referred to as “Lion Dance Boy.” Now, a trio of fan-favorite characters from multiple regions are set to join the update as re-runs.

A recent leak shared by prominentGenshin Impactleaker Full Stop Chan has confirmed thebanner order forGenshin Impact’s Version 4.4. According to the leak, Xianyun will run as expected during the first half of Version 4.4, joined by are-run of Sumeru’s Dendro Archon Nahidaalongside new four-star character Gaming. The second half of Version 4.4 will reportedly feature re-runs of Liyue adeptus Xiao and the return of Inazuma’s Narukami Shrine head Yae Miko. Version 4.4 is currently expected to be released on January 31.

Version 4.4’s rumored gacha banners feature a particular character boasting excellent synergy with the game’s newest five-star unit. Xianyun’s release withinGenshin Impactwill see her debut as an Anemo Catalyst user with a kit focused around boosting Plunging Attack damage and increasing jump height. Xiao, first released during Version 1.3, serves as one ofGenshin Impact’s main Plunging Attack-focused DPS units, commonly seen as a top damage character for Anemo teams. Yae Miko also offers strong off-field damage with her Electro totems, working to benefit the Anemo element’s Swirl elemental reaction.

Xianyun’s impending release in Version 4.4 comes as a plethora of future characters coming toGenshin Impacthave already been teased. The main story of the Fontaine region showed multiple upcoming characters, including both Champion Duelist Clorinde and the highly-anticipated Fatui Harbinger Arlecchino.
