A popular Genshin Impact leaker named dimbreath has revealed a video showing Dehya’s gameplay animations. According to the post, Dehya will have a unique kit that allows her to swap between her claymore and hand-to-hand combat. Unlike any other character in the roster, Dehya’s Normal Attack sequence includes two claymore strikes followed by two punches. Overall, fans seem to like her kit, especially considering that Dehya will be the first bruiser in Genshin Impact.PreviousGenshin Impactleakshave revealed more about her whole kit which will allow her to fill the main DPS and sub-DPS roles.
Dehya’s Elemental Skill is called Molten Infernoand it will enable her to inflict AoE Pyro damage and create a field named Fiery Sanctum. If the field was already active, Dehya will be able to execute a leaping attack that causes even more AoE Pyro damage and recreates the Fiery Sanctum at her new location. Additionally, enemies that are struck within the field will take extra Pyro damage and active characters affected by it will have heightened resistance to interruption.
The video also confirmsprevious leaks about her Elemental Burstwhich will allow her to completely switch to hand-to-hand combat for a short period of time. In this state, Dehya will continuously deal Pyro damage to nearby enemies and at the end of its duration, she will perform an Incineration Drive kick that causes massive AoE Pyro damage.
Many comments claim that even though they were not expecting Dehya’s animations to look like this, they are still happy with her playstyle, and she seems worth pulling for. The last couple of updates placed all new characters on the same banner cycle which led many players to believe that Dehya and Mika will appear on the same Limited Character Banner. Dehya will be a five-star character whileMika is expected to have a lower four-star rarity.
