The world ofGod of Warincludes a lot of hidden areas that players might not know to explore. These locations can require characters to backtrack, solve puzzles, or fight enemies in order to continue onward. One of the most important secret areas inGod of Waris thechamber that leads to Eir.
As a mark of Eir’s dangerous nature, his location is not easy to access. Eir, one ofGod of War’s many Valkyries, can be found deep within The Mountain that players visit as part of the main campaign. After The Mountain has been discovered, players can return and explore its depths to find the hidden home of Eir.

How to Get to Eir inGod of War
The first step to reaching Eir isgetting to the bridge near Vanaheim Tower so that players can progress to the Foothills. Once players are there, they can continue into The Mountain, taking the path toward the summit. When players reach the dwarf shop at the plateau, they can then take the same route they took when they first reached The Mountain to get farther.
After players have scaled The Mountain and entered the chamber at its peak,they can use shock arrows to clear the block on the left side of the chamber to continue toward Eir. Before going forward, though, players might want to prepare for the fight by acquiring some ofGod of War’s most powerful armor.
As they progress down the left-hand passage, players will eventually see a golden chain leading up to another level of the caverns.They should climb up the chainand then find themselves on a narrow path that will lead to a closed door. Once they haveactivated a switch, the door will open, and players will find themselves in a huge cavern.
If theyskirt along the right side of the room, they will eventually come to a giant door; the entrance to Eir’s hidden chamber. From there, players will enter, take an elevator down to Eir’s lair, and then prepare to fightthe dangerousGod of WarValkyrie.
Finding Eir requires players to retrace their steps and be dedicated to progressing through the game. In that way,God of Waris similar to games likeStar Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, which heavily rewards players for going back to previous locations. Eir is a complicated enemy that is a well-worth discovery, for it can lead to the acquisition of some ofGod of War’s most powerful gear and, of course, the fight is incredibly fun.
