Having theGauntlets of RadianceandBelt of Radianceis essential to keep the Realm Shifts activated for longer durations. TheShoulder Straps of Radiancegrant Kratos a decent buff to his attacks when he activates a Realm Shift.
Enchantments
Kratos needs theMuspelheimandAlfheimEnchantments to increase his damage sincethey both scale his attacks with his high Runicand Strength stats.Emblem of the Nine Realmsis the true joker of this entire build. Once Kratos activates a Realm Shift, this attachment will greatly buff his Melee attacks, giving his Realm Shifts an extra purpose. Finally, theMemento of the AilingEnchantment is important for all three weapons' attachments. It charges their skill gauges faster and in return, players will be able to activate Realm Shifts more frequently.
Weapons
TheGrip of the Nine Realms,Pommels of the Nine Realms, andHind of The Nine Realmsall share the same exact passive based on their weapons. Activating Permafrost, Immolation, or Maelstorm will instantly initiate a Realm Shift, freezing enemies in their places. The threeweapons’ attachments also increase Kratos’ Runic statsby 26 at max level, which further empowers the three Muspelheim Enchantments.
As for Runic attacks, it is better to depend on quick skills that deal massivedamage to provide Kratos with more timeto inflict Melee damage. The same idea goes when picking Kratos’ Rage type.Wrathis the best option since it grants him a quick and huge burst of damage, buffed by theBoon of WrathEnchantment.
Successfully parrying an enemy while wielding theRond of the Nine Realmshas a chance of activating a Realm Shift. The passive’s chances are improved with the decent Luck stats Kratos has from his other attachments. As for theHilt of Hofud, at max level, it grants Kratos the longest time inside a Realm Shift, without any requirements.
