According to a report, citing a number of sources, while Rockstar has been dropping screenshots, cut-scene footage, and GIFs fromGrand Theft Auto: The Trilogy, there hasn’t been much in the way of actual gameplay trailers, which is where the fan base comes in. Some who have got the game early have been sharing their own footage of what the game actually looks like during play. These have been uploaded to places like Reddit and YouTube.

One user in particular uploaded around an hour’s worth of gameplay footage from each ofthe three classicGrand Theft Autotitles. The videos aim to show what fans have accused Rockstar of refusing to do, which is to show exactly what each of the games looks like. As many will imagine, the videos show the quality of life and visual upgrade thatGTA 3,Vice City, andSan Andreashave been given. While there are some who seem disappointed in the visuals, others are quite impressed with the “lick of paint” job that’s been given to the titles, the earliest of which is now twenty years old at this point.
