Haloinnovated the gaming sphere and become a household name. Players could enjoy the serieswith their friendsand have an epic time doing so. However, the series rarely jumps into another medium, and when it does, the response is usually lukewarm. TheHaloTV series is almost upon us, and fans have been waiting for a full trailer to see how it will play out.

Since the trailer dropped earlier this week, fans have been dissecting it. Although theHaloseries will be based on its own timeline called theSilver Timeline, the show creators did bring a lot over from theHalogames, so fans can rejoice at seeing Master Chief in another medium. SeeingCortana’s relationship withthe Master Chief again should be interesting if done right, and fans will want to revisit that key element of theHalonarrative. Even though the trailer showed a lot from thatHalouniverse, viewers would have definitely missed some key details. Check out this list to see what’s buried beneath all the action of the show.
5High Charity
This is an iconic landmark that players saw in two of thebestHalogames. Now, it’s making its live-action debut in theHaloTV series. While not confirmed yet, fans who have examined the trailer believe that High Charity makes an appearance. A glimpse of the Covenant capital city can be seen out of focus and in the background when Makee is first introduced. This gives a good indication of when exactly on the Silver Timeline this show takes place.
Makee is also a new character. As a human ally with the Covenant,Halofans are confused about her relation to High Charity. Judging by that, it seems to be built up already. The game is clearly set during the height of the Covenant empire, which it could be an interesting thing for fans to see. In the mainline series of theHalogames, players don’t really get to see it at its best moments — and when they do, it’s only glimpses.

Seeing High Charity in all its glory would be a treat for longtime fans. If the show runners pay attention to those details, as well as details like gettingMaster Chief right, then the show should be enjoyable avoid the pitfalls that other video game adaptations face.
4Elite Armor
Elites are probablythe most importantsection in the Covenant forces, so seeing these aliens in live-action will be great because of how cool they look. Fans may have noticed that when the Master Chief is fighting the elites during the first parts of the trailer, the Chief’s shield went on — but not on the elites. Many theories have been posed; however, two stand out. The first suggests that the shields were down because of a previous engagement. The second, meanwhile, claims that these elites are spec ops and thus don’t have any shields for that armor set.

If the latter theory is true, that would be a nice detail from the show creators to demonstrate their understanding of theHaloworld. Elites aren’t all the same; rather, many have different sets to reflect their status in the military. On top of shields, the armor set itself also looks to be adapted fromHalo 2: Anniversary, though with some creative liberties to give them a newer look.
3Quan Ha
Quan Ha is a new character in the Silver Timeline and appears at the start of the trailer, when it opens up on a human colony being attacked by the covenant. The story seems to be centered around her and her relationship with Master Chief after he saves her. However, she seems to have some hostility towards the Chief at the same time, because Quan Ha lives in the outer colony. These colonies don’t have the best quality of life, but are the farthest away from human civilization and the human military.
This could play in the story, exploring Ha’s journey to trust Master Chief, ultimately making their relationship a major plot line in the show. In theHalogames, Master Chief’s loyalty towards the UNSC has come into play with a wide range of factors. It will be interesting to see how his loyalty plays out when defending a person who doesn’t have a good opinion of the body of government he’s attached to.

2Marine Armor
Fans can only see how the Marine Soldiers look for a few seconds, but that is clearly more than enough when one soldier is giving Master Chief a weapon. This particular gun seems to be the iconic assault rifle that makes an appearance in the latest gaming entry,Halo Infinite. Much like the elites' armor, the marine’s armor set seems to be inspired by the armor used by marines in the main line series. Much of its basis seems to come fromHalo Warsdue to the accents and how the helmet is designed.

The marine armor has undergone subtle changes over the games, so it’ll be interesting if the same changes will be made in the live action series. Having it set in a separate timeline, the creators can play around without having to pigeon-hole themselves to what the games are doing. Instead, they can take influences from theHaloseries and build on them.
1Master Chief’s Team
These Spartans seem similar to the ones inHalo Guardiansthat fight alongside of the Master Chief. When fans see them for the first time, they’re all wearing an armor set that has been used in other games, and served as the base template from Master Chief’s armor fromHalo 3.
Kai, for example, has armor that is very close to Master Chief’s, whereas Vanick has more customizations from the chest plate to the shoulder pad. While these designs borrow from the game series, they are building on top of that. Considering what has been shown in terms of visuals, fans have high hopes that the story will be similar: that the show will have its own narrative, while still respecting the source material.
