With combat being so important in this title, the weapons a player can discover while exploring are highly valuable when hoping to defeat any foe they face. One such example of this weapon is aCatalystwhich is a great long-ranged weapon to use on both regular enemies and bosses. Here isevery Catalyst ranked.
9Hedron Of Light
Hedrons may have a decent range of which they can be fired from a distance. However, due to many of them such as the Hedron of Light’s ability being a shot that casts three projectiles of energy that can really done some damage if all three hit.
Due to this, many players consider the Hedron of Light to besimilar to a shotgunand therefore using it from a very close range is certain to allow all three to do its damage. This also makes it far more worthwhile especially due to the eight amount of energy that is consumed by using it.

8Hedron Of Flame
Similarly, the Hedron of Flame is another catalyst of this type which highly benefits from being used up close or at a medium range. Due to using the same amount of energy as the Hedron of Light, players will want to make every cast count so thateach flaming projectile hits its mark.
As its name suggests players will instead cast induction with this weapon that can be a weakness of some foes faced. Leveling it up allows the player to achieve even more powerful projectiles such as eventually unlocking honing projectiles which allows the player to put a bit of distance between themselves and the enemy without worrying about it missing.

7Hedron Of Entropy
The final Hedron is by far one of the most powerful of the three with all the disadvantages that comes along with it. Entropy is far more powerful of power than the others due to the effects it can have on enemies.

Unlike the other catalysts that claim to do Entropic damage, the Hedron of Entropy is the only one that actually does it instead of Nihl. This means hitting an enemy directly with all three projectiles has a chance to freeze the enemy in place and therefore subject it to an onslaught of melee damage.
6White Prophet Hand
Like the Hedron of Light, the White Prophet Hand is used to dispel light energy at the player’s foes. Similar to the Hedron as well, the Prophet Hands are commonly used up close and are therefore better suited to players that are experimenting with a melee dominant build with the occasional shot from the hand.
Completely leveling up the hand will eventually allow players to demolish their enemies with an unrelenting beam of light that is sure to demolisheven the strongest of foes. Although even in its beginning levels of just a simple blast of light it can deal with enemies flawlessly.

5Channeler Of Hell
Players that are hoping to do a Catalyst focused playthrough would most likely wish to focus on using Channelers especially due to their incredibly long-range allowing the player to snipe foes from a distance and mostly avoid melee combat.

Unlike the other catalysts available, many of the Channelers like the Channeler of Hell can only hit a single foe at once. However, by leveling up this weapon players can open up other avenues of combat such as creating a fall of flames, that will burn enemies in its path, though being precise is key.
4Channeler Of Light
Continuing with the use of Channelers, the Channeler of Light is just as useful as the Channeler of Hell while insteademitting the power of light. Its original attack shoots a ball of light at its enemy which can not only bounce off surfaces but also enemies and therefore can be used to attack more than one foe.
It continues to grow in power with its final ability players can unlock called Wall of Light, similar to the other Channeler. This can deny areas for enemies which are stupid enough to walk through it as well as hit multiple foes at once if in a lucky line.

3Etek Aveos
Emitting a powerful amount of Nihl damage, this channeler may cost a lot of energy to cast but the damage it causes is by far worth it. While some players may wish to cast power from the light, others will follow a darker path through relying on the casting of darkness through Nihl power, which is not to be mistaken with entropic.

Just a single hit from the simple void sphere attack of this catalyst can turn enemies insane which causes them to see hallucinations. However, if a player dedicates themselves to using this catalyst the final attack which creates a wall of darkness can easily be the demise of the final boss ofHellpoint.
2Amber Prophet Hand
Although it does significantly less damage than a channeler, many players still favor using the prophet hands over the majority of other catalysts due to being a great backup with a decent amount of power while attacking foes head on.
The Amber Prophet Hand does exactly that as leveling up the catalyst doesn’t only unlock the ability to attack with explosives but alsoincreases the strength statof the player and therefore better improving their melee attacks. It’s also incredibly cheap to cast and therefore won’t cost the player so much energy to use.

1Nihl Prophet Hand
Overall, one of the strongest and most loved catalysts in the entirety ofHellpointis by far the Nihl Prophet Hand. With the majority of players favoring melee builds over ones that focus on the strength of catalysts, the Nihl Prophet Hand is not only cheap to cast but also incredibly powerful.
Combining the power of each unlocked ability from the simple up closeblast to the unstoppable beamwith the Nihl damage effect of causing the enemy to hallucinate means players can confuse their enemies before finishing them off for good.

Hellpointis available on the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One
