In a clip posted to Reddit by fifth_place_ladd, a creative and hilarious new way to defeat Filibert Fourfingers is shown off. In a classic sword fight perched high on the battlements of a ruined castle, fifth_place_ladd, as Geralt, bullies Filibert into a corner with parries and the Aard sign. After some finessing into the right spot, where there is a gap in the ramshackle fence, one decisive Aard push sends Filibert hurtling to the cold earth, where his health bar goes from full to empty in a split second. The humorous feat of out-of-the-box thinking highlights a simplified way to tackle the Knight for Hire quest in theBlood and WineWitcher 3expansion.

The Filibert Fourfingers boss fight takes place during a secondary quest line in Blood and Wine, the 2016expansion ofTheWitcher 3. Released only a year afterThe Witcher 3, Blood and Wine was hailed as one of the most impressive expansion packs of all time, boasting a 30-hour detour through the breathtaking land of Toussaint. The clip from fifth_place_ladd shows some of the verdant landscapes and towering medieval castles included in the expansion pack. While there is of course a smattering of traditional monster-slaying bounties for Geralt to tackle in Toussaint,Blood and Winealso featured more traditional low fantasy-influenced storylines, such as the side quest that culminates in the Filibert Fourfingers fight.

While fans patiently await more news from CD Projekt Red regarding the multipleWitchergames currently in the works, clips like fifth_place_ladd remind gamers whyWitcher 3remains so highly regarded in the world of gaming.
