Stealth is an important part ofHogwarts Legacygameplay, and players can use the Invisibility Potion to enhance this aspect of the game greatly. While thestandard Disillusionment Charm will workin most situations, there are some encounters that call for a more foolproof method of remaining undetected. This is where theInvisibility Potioncomes in handy.
Naturally, players won’t be able to use the Invisibility Potion until they obtain some for themselves. Though they can be purchased from vendors throughout the game’s open world, it’s best to brew them. To do so,Hogwarts Legacyplayers will need to obtain the Invisibility Potion recipe and understand where to find the ingredients needed to brew it.

What Does the Invisibility Potion Do?
As the name implies, the Invisibility Potion makes the drinker completely invisible. As previously mentioned, this is very similar to the effect of the Disillusionment Charm, but with a few key differences. For starters, the Invisibility Potion makes the player completely undetectable, even if they walk right in front of a hostile enemy.
What’s more, it can be used in the midst of combat, even after enemies have noticed the player, making it great for a quick getaway. It can even be used toheal damage inHogwarts Legacy, as if players drink an Invisibility Potion and stay hidden after its effects wear off, they’ll start to heal naturally over time as though they were out of combat. Invisibility Potions last only five seconds by default.
Where Is the Invisibility Potion Recipe?
As with almost all potions, the recipe for Invisibility Potions can be purchased from J. Pippin’s Potions in Hogsmeade. Since it’s a more advanced Potion recipe, players will find it to be a bit more expensive than some of the other options, coming in at 800 Galleons. For those that still haven’t unlocked Hogsmeade, simply continue on through the story, and the player should visit the iconic wizarding village early on.

Getting the Most Out of Invisibility Potions
The main drawback of Invisibility Potions is that they only last for five seconds. This duration can be extended considerably by spending Talent Points on theRoom of Requirement Talents section. There is only one talent that modifies Invisibility Potions, but it greatly increases their efficacy.
