As revealed through his drip marketing campaign, Gallagher will join the roster offour-star characters inHonkai: Star Railin version 2.1. He commands the Fire element and belongs to the Abundance Path, with the developers teasing that the upcoming unit is best suited in a supportive role for his team. Besides, it has been revealed through leaks that Gallagher specializes in debuffing enemies and healing allies. He allegedly enhances his normal attack and breaks enemy weakness, which is the most a support unit can do anyway.
A reputed leaker within theHonkai: Star Railcommunity, HomDGCat, has leaked new details about Gallagher’s skill set, revealing that the character decreases enemy ATK and deals Fire damage using his Enhanced Basic ATK. He not only heals HP for allies but also inflicts Mark on targets that remain a couple of turns. Gallagher dishes out increased Break DMG to enemies with Mark and restores a percentage of his HP. As for the character’s Technique, it also inflicts the aforementioned effect on all targets and deals Fire damage based on ATK.

Honkai: Star Rail’s Gallagher utilizes a trio of tracesthat enhance his defensive capabilities. One increases the character’s healing bonus, while the other allows him to heal all teammates when he deals damage to enemies with Mark by using Enhanced Basic ATK. His Eidolons, on the other hand, boost Gallagher’s Break Effect, expand the duration of the Mark effect, and increase the Break DMG.
Given thatGallagher is a four-star unit, he will probably be featured in a five-star character’s debut banner inHonkai: Star Railversion 2.1. According to the leaks, this top-tier character will either be the Nihility-based Acheron or the Imaginary-type Aventurine.
