WWE 2K24has arrived and is absolutely stacked with a roster of over 200 wrestlers from WWE today and from its storied history. While the launch day roster has plenty to offer players for countless hours of entertainment, there are also a few popular stars that will require some effort to be able to access.
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of WWE’s flagship event, Wrestlemania,WWE 2K24are bringing back to life some of the best athletes and personalities from its past on consoles and PCs worldwide. For players looking to add Hall of Famers and fan favorites to their list of playable characters, they will need to become familar withhow to unlock Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero inWWE 2K24.
How to Unlock Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle in WWE 2K24
While the time has long passed for the late Eddie Guerrero and Hall of Famer Kurt Angle in professional wrestling, players can still relive the talents of these two immensely popular superstars inWWE 2K24. To unlock both Angle and Guerrero, players will need tocomplete Match 10 of the Wrestlemania Showcase, titled “Can You Stand The Heat?”. Once the match has been completed, both superstars will be added to theWWE 2K24roster, so players can take the mantle of either athlete in themany new and improved matchesin the game.
There are a total of 18 objectives to complete in Match 10 of Wrestlemania Showcase mode, after which players will receive both playable wrestlers, as well as the Wrestlemania 20 arena. All of these can then be used in other game modes within the game.
While, in theory, this is a very achievable goal, it will require that players complete the 9 matches in Showcase Mode prior to reliving the Wrestlemania 20 clash between the two long-standing rivals. It may take some time, but hardcore wrestling fans will enjoy the journey, which includes great Wrestlemania rivalries likeAndre the Giant and Hulk Hogan,Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels, andRoddy Piper and Bret Hart. Guerrero and Angle aren’t the last to feature in the Showcase mode either, with a number dramatic bouts from last year’s Wrestlemania 39 also included.
The Wrestlemania Showcase mode inWWE 2K24is proving to be a popular variation of the previous installments' equivalents, whichput the spotlight on WWE legendsJohn Cena and Rey Mysterio, with players being taken on a journey through the story of each match. The game mode includes narration from WWE commentator Corey Graves, along with some interviews with the likes of Kurt Angle and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
