The theme workshop inFallout Shelterrequires a minimum population of 42 Vault Dwellers to be constructed. Once unlocked, it will cost you 3,200 Caps to build, and you may assign 6 workers to it. The type of workers you assign to the workshop will depend on theS.P.E.C.I.A.L. statneeded for the theme you are crafting. By upgrading your theme workshop to level 3, you can significantly reduce the time it takes to create a theme.

How Many Themes Are Available In Fallout Shelter?

There are currently six unique themes, with each theme having one diner and one living quarters variant, resulting in twelve total theme recipes that you may craft using a theme workshop inFallout Shelter. These themes can be applied to a fully merged Diner or Living Quarters, meaning you must have merged three rooms. In addition, you must fully upgrade these rooms to use your newly crafted theme. However, once you unlock and build the theme workshop, you can’t just craft any theme you want.

Instead, you must collect theme fragments by completing quests from the Overseer’s office, just likegetting Power Armor for your Dwellersor spending Nuka-Cola Quantum to unlock the ability to craft a specific theme. You can still collect theme fragments even if you do not have a theme workshop built in your vault. If you do not have enough theme fragments to craft a theme or have crafted the ones you want, you can destroy it to save power for other essential rooms.

Once you have crafted all twelve themes inFallout Shelter, the theme workshop will become deactivated. However, the themes you’ve crafted can be applied to as many Diners and Living Rooms as you want. However, keep in mind that you’ll still need to have a fully merged and upgraded building to reapply the theme to it again.
