According to Zymanski’s announcement on Steam, they added a few cheat codesIron Lungplayers can use for themselves during their playthrough. There are seven of these cheats - one allows players to view the game in black and white, make its lighting more colorful, and even add a speaker inside the submarine. There is also a cheat code that activates Markiplier Mode, which swaps the submarine’s internal texture forpictures of Markiplier, essentially surrounding players with them, save for a few buttons and indicator lights.

Zymanski’s addition of the Markiplier Mode toIron Lungmay surprise the indie game’s fans who don’t follow the YouTuber’s recent exploits. The mode references Markiplier’s work in directing and starring inIron Lung’s film adaptation. Apart from the new cheats,Zymanski also revealed thatIron Lungwill be 20% off as part of theSteam Scream: The Revenge event, which started on October 26 and ends on November 2. Lastly, the indie game developer said they are changingIron Lung’s price from $6 to $8 after the sale, though they’re making all future updates and DLC, including the movie’s behind-the-scenes photos, free of charge in exchange.

While some prospective gamers may feel uncomfortable with Zymanski increasingIron Lung’s price by $2, the game developer stressed that this instance is the first and last time they will do so. “I believe $8 is a fairer price, more in line with whatsimilar horror gamesask, and more sustainable for me over the long run,” Zymanski said. Regardless, gamers, especially Markiplier fans, may find that they will get as much value as they can with the $2 increase. Only time will tell if Zymanski’s words will ring true in the future.
