Warner Bros. and TT Games releasedLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagalast month, and players continue to discover hidden details in the vast galaxy, leading to some unintentional moments. OneLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagafan has found a way to escape the Crait Outpost, which is supposed to be an enclosed space, resulting in some strange footage.
Reddit user Wistfulspider recently posted a clip of their co-op adventures inLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagawith their girlfriend in which their significant other has broken out of Crait Outpost, one of the locations from the final trilogy. In theStar Warsfilms, Crait is a mostly barren landscape with dust that turns red when it’s kicked up which creates a cinematic visual spectacle, but the expansive desert shown in Wistfulspider’s clip lacks the colorful twist. Because of this, Wistfulspider’s girlfriend traverses the cracked ground of the planet as Jar Jar Binks without creating any red footprints, making Crait appear more likeTatooine.

Wistfulspider’s video shows split-screen gameplay centering on Boba Fett andJar Jar Binksthat begins with the bounty hunter waiting around in Crait Outpost and the adjacent Jar Jar running frantically through the flat expanse outside the base. Players aren’t meant to explore much of Crait and are supposed to be locked to the outpost, but the player using Jar Jar is able to leave the base through unconventional methods. An icon behind Jar Jar points out the “Porg Patrol” objective, which highlights just how far Jar Jar is able to run from the Crait Outpost, which is seemingly a greater distance than the developer intended.
TheLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagaclip continues as the camera revolves around Jar Jar to show the rest of Crait outside the base which is in the background. While a vast desert plane lies ahead of theStar Warsprequelcharacter, the surrounding area has mountains in the distance that the character may reach if Wistfulspider has the time to just run in a straight line. Because the LEGOStar Wars: The Skywalker Sagavideo ends before Jar Jar runs into any roadblocks, it’s currently unclear if there are any invisible walls in Crait preventing the player from running forever.
SomeLEGO Star Warsfans have taken to Wistfulspider’s clip to ponder why TT Games didn’t include much of Crait inLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagaoutside the Outpost, notably not allowing players to explore the trenches near the main door. AnotherStar Warsfan noted that the Crait level inStar Wars: Battlefront 2is particularly impressive for anyLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagafan that wants to see more of the planet. Considering players aren’t meant to leave Crait Outpost inLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the game may be updated in the future to prevent others from replicating Jar Jar’s journey in Wistfulspider’s video.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagais available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
