In a press release circulated byMcDonald’s, the fast food giant revealed the “As Featured In Meal,” a “collection of fan-favorite menu items that have made iconic appearances throughout film, television, and music.” On August 14, the meal will be launched globally and be available in “more than 100 countries.” The meal offers a choice between three main menu items, including the iconic Big Mac, andLoki’s influence is a Sweet ‘N Sour Sauce, as was revealed in an employee video on TikTok. In addition to the meal, fans can get their hands on custom merchandise and “never-before-seen content.”

Fans have already seen a glimpse of McDonald’s featured inLokiseason 2, with the official trailer featuringSophia Di Martino’s Sylvieworking at the fast food restaurant. Loki seems to arrive as a customer, and perhaps this is where he orders a meal. To enhance the fan experience, McDonald’s is offering a “sneak peek via a themed AR experience on Snapchat.” Any fan who orders one of the restaurant’s “As Featured In Meal” can scan the sauce lid on Snapchat and “unlock exclusive content developed by Marvel Studios.”

That’s not all; McDonald’s is transforming one of its branches in Brooklyn to transport fans back in time. The scene inLokiseason 2 inspired this idea, and the fast food restaurant will replicate a store from 1982,complete with McDonald’s memorabilia. This unique experience will only be available for three days starting August 30.Lokiis the first Marvel Studios series to have a second season, with nine television series already having premiered, and it seems like the studio isn’t holding back on promotions.
