There’s an abundance of cool suits inMarvel’s Spider-Man, and Insomniac Games went all out in representing thebest and worst parts of Spider-Man’s historyin Marvel Comics. As a character with decades of history, Spider-Man has had many suits across multiple forms of media.

With theplethora of suitsthat Spider-Man has worn over the years, it’s great to see Insomniac Games bring those to life inMarvel’s Spider-Man. Ranging from live-action suits, to even more obscure references that die-hard Marvel fans may have missed.Most suits feature the originof their creation, and why they are inMarvel’s Spider-Man.
45Advanced Suit
As the cover suit forMarvel’s Spider-Man, the Advanced Suit represents the love and craft of the Insomniac Games. It’s their original design, and an attempt to modernize Spider-Man’s costume, but at the same time, to payhomage to the classic design.
This is the baseline suit forMarvel’s Spider-Manstory, and exists after Peter Parker’s original suit is damaged during a fight with Wilson Fisk. With Otto Octavius’ help, Peter Parker’s new and slick Spidey suit is created.

44Classic Suit (Damaged)
The damaged version of the Classic Suit comes into play after a climactic battle to take down Wilson Fisk. Spider-Man’s fight with Kingpin leaves his classic outfit damaged, and torn, as represented through the rips, tears, and dust speckles covering the outfit.
The dust and dirt marks make for a battle-damaged Spider-Man. The only improvement would be if one of his lenses was destroyed, a classic look for a beaten Spider-Man in the comics.

43Classic Suit (Repaired)
When players begin their journey inMarvel’s Spider-Man, they will suit up for the first time in the Classic Suit. This suit is Spider-Man’s definitive look. With bold red and blue colors, and a small black spider symbol on the chest. It’s a great superhero costume.
Players will be able toreunlock the Classic Suitafter spending 2 Backpack Tokens and 2 Crime Tokens, as it is damaged in a fight with Wilson Fisk, making the cleanliness of the costume falter.

42Noir Suit
The Noir Suit is an additional suit toMarvel’s Spider-Man. It features one of Spider-Man’s most iconic alternate timelines, in which Peter Parker became “Spider-Man Noir”. This Spider-Man is a lot grittier than the other renditions, as he is an investigative reporter during WW1.
Spider-Man Noir was most famously seen inSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, where he was voiced by the delight of Nicolas Cage. The character comes from an alternate reality to the mainline Marvel Universe of 616.

41Scarlet Spider Suit
With all of the power and none of the responsibility, the Scarlet Spider Suit swings onto the scene forMarvel’s Spider-Man. Considering Spider-Man has a long and convoluted history, it may not be a surprise for fans of the comics to know that Peter Parker has a perfect clone called Ben Reilly.
The Scarlet Spider is what Ben Reilly called himself, and the outfit inMarvel’s Spider-Manis a faithful recreation of such a costume seen in Marvel Comics.

40Spider Armor MK2 Suit
In Marvel Comics, Peter Parker lost his Spider-Sense. Considering Spider-Sense was essential to Spider-Man’s reflexes, and what helps him dodge literal bullets, the armor was necessary to stop himself from getting shot dead.

The Spider Armor MK2 Suit features an identical design to the comics. This suit was completely bullet-proof and allowed Spider-Man to defeat his enemies easily.
39Secret War Suit
Not to be confused with the Avengers event “Secret Wars”, Secret War was a five-issue comic involving Spider-Man and other superheroes, selected personally by Nick Fury. The mission was to lead the heroes into Latveria on a secret war since the US government didn’t sanction it.
Spider-Man’s outfit inSecret Warappears in Marvel’s Spider-Man, featuring a more stealth and slimline design thanks to S.H.I.E.LD.

38Stark Suit
Many fans celebrated the entry of Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With a new actor, came a new suit, and Insomniac Games represent that with the highly detailed Stark Suit. This suit is Spider-Man’s costume, supplied by Tony Stark inCaptain America: Civil War.
The outfit is worn by Spider-Man through most of his MCU appearances and is Marvel Studios’ rendition of a classic Spider-Man costume for their cinematic live-action universe.

37Negative Suit
With the villain Mister Negative threatening New York City, it’s up to Spider-Man to save the day once again. Through his battles, Spider-Man enters the Negative Zone, and in doing so, can unlock a photo-negative costume.
Marvel’s Spider-Manfeatures thephoto-negative costumein the Advanced Suit, but a photo-negative suit is also seen in the comics when Peter Parker enters the Negative Zone to save three children.

36Electrically Insulated Suit
The Electrically Insulated Suit is more commonly referred to in Marvel Comics as the “Electro Proof Costume”. It’s worn by Peter Parker to negate the effects of electricity that came from an overcharged and severely dangerous Electro.
The costumes are the same, and this insulated suit makes it so that Spider-Man is not shocked by the powerful electricity Electro disperses.
