Continuing the trend of collaboration events,Monster Hunter Risehas brought in another Capcom property.Okamiis the second Capcom Collab Event Quest inMonster Hunter Rise, following the inclusion of the Tsukino Palico layered armor fromMonster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.

Okamiis an action-adventure gamedeveloped by Clover Studio and published by Capcom in 2006. It tells the classic story of how the Shinto sun goddess Amaterasu, who took on the form of a white wolf, saved the land from darkness. Thanks to its story and unique cel-shaded art style,Okamiwas praised by critics and players alike. There are many who consider it to be one of the greatest games ever made. Its colorful and striking art style has also helped promote the argument of games as an art form.

How to Unlock the Okami Quest

To first access the quest, players will need to speak with Senri the Mailman.He’s the little Palicoat the dead center of Kamura Village. By selectingAdd-on Contentand then scrolling through the listEvent Quest: Rising Sun!?, the quest will be downloaded and made available. Alternatively, players can also press theAccept Allbutton to receive all the available DLC quests and extras.

With the quest downloaded, players can then head to either hub maiden to accept the quest. It is a 2* Low Rank quest that takes placein the Shrine Ruins. Players are tasked with collecting 21 Sun Goddess pictures that have been scattered about the area. The pictures are actually small packages and each has its location marked on the map, making a simple task even easier.

Crafting the Okami Gear

Once complete, players will be awarded a unique item called aCelestial Scroll.This, along with Fur Scraps, is required to forge the Ammy layered Palamute armor. Players will need four Celestial Scrolls to forge the armor, so it will take multiple runs of the quest to collect them all. Fortunately, it’s quick and easy, so it’s only a matter of time until the player’s Palamute can take on a legendary appearance.

Monster Hunter Risehas had a number of collaborations since its release on Nintendo Switch in 2021. In addition to the events listed above, Akuma fromStreet Fighterhas appeared,Rush fromMega Manhas been turned into Palamute armor, Arther fromGhosts and Goblinshas been turned into hunter armor, multiple pieces have been added from theSonicseries, and more. Each event is free DLC and adds a fun little bit of flair to an already content-rich game.
