Minecraft’s world is one filled with interesting mobs that typically either strike fear in players or are neutral to a player’s existence. The game has been around for so long that many of these mobs have become easily recognizable and players have made countless tributes to them. In a recent example of this, oneMinecraftplayer showed off their own version of some of the game’s most memorable mobs.

This fan art creation comes from Reddit user Pixel_lasha, and they show off an amazing 3x3 image of some ofMinecraft’s mobs. In the top row they have recreated a Guardian, a Strider, and one of the game’s latest additions, the Axolotl. In the middle row, they show off a Mushroom Cow, a Warden, and a Shulker. To finish this set of nine, the bottom row features a Piglin with an axe, a Bee, and an Iron Golem. The artist has recreated these mobs in a 1-bit art style which means that these normally colorful creatures are black and white. Even though they are just made up of pixels and without color, these mobs are still just as recognizable as they are in the game. Especially impressive isMinecraft’s latest challenging enemy the Warden, which is prominently featured in the center of this artwork.
Themobs ofMinecrafthave seen themselvesfeatured in plenty of player creations, but this one adds an interesting new look at some classic designs. The game relies on a relatively stripped-down art style and this artist’s turn towards pixels and the contrast of black and white work really well.
There are plenty of interestingmobs in the world ofMinecraft, especially since the recent Caves and Cliffs update came to the game. New additions such as the Axolotl, Goats, and the Warden bring a new flavor to some of the game’s biomes and help reinvigorate the world.
Then again, there are likelyMinecraftplayers who were looking for even more from the game’s developers. While there have been neutral and hostile mobs added in, it is easy to see that some might have expected even more creatures to interact with becausethis update toMinecraftwas split into two parts. Either way, this player showed off some of the game’s best mobs in a cool new way.
