When it comes to the standard Switch console, Nintendo has been releasing the same holiday bundle for years now. Every year around the holiday shopping season, Nintendo fans have been able to expect a Switch bundle withMario Kart 8 Deluxeincluded. If theMario Kart 8 Deluxesales numbersare any indication, these special Switch bundles have been hugely popular.

Now it seems Nintendo is trying something similar with its line of Switch OLED consoles.According to a leak from Dealabs, Nintendo will soon be releasing a new Switch OLED bundle that comes with the console, a download code forMario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a three-month subscription to theSwitch Online subscription service. Pricing information for this bundle is unavailable at the time of this writing, but it will presumably cost $349.99. This new Switch OLED bundle is expected to drop at some point in November 2023.

For anyone that doesn’t have a Nintendo Switch yet, this Switch OLED bundle should be a good deal.Mario Kart 8 Deluxeis one of thehighest-rated Switch games, and so it makes a great game for anyone’s Switch collection. The three-month subscription to Switch Online will also give players immediate access to some genuine Nintendo classics, including some of the best NES and SNES games of all time.

Some gamers that still have yet to get a Switch may want to hold off on buying the Switch OLED. While Nintendo itself has yet to make the official announcement, reports indicate that theSwitch successor consoleis set to launch at some point in 2024. It’s been teased that the Switch 2, or whatever it ends up being called, will have backward compatibility with Switch games. If this is accurate, it may make more sense to wait and buy the Switch successor console when it releases next year instead of picking up the Switch OLED bundle.

Those that can’t wait should rest assured that the original Switch has an impressive library of games and one should have no problem getting their money’s worth out of the Switch OLED bundle.
