Overwatch 2has introduced its first Halloween Terror event, and with it comes plenty of rewards for players to get their hands on. Running fromOctober 25toNovember 8, players will be able to nab themselves a ton of Battle Pass EXP and plenty of Halloween-themed goodies,including brand-newOverwatchskins, sprays, and voice lines. This Halloween Terror event also includes the newJunkensteins' Revenge: Wrath of the Bridemini-event.
To access the Halloween Terror tasks, all players need to do is select Challenges on the left-hand side of the mainOverwatch 2screen. When in theChallenges option menu, choose theEventtabat the top of the screen. From here, players will be able to dive into all thespooky tasks awaiting them, as well as check progress on both completed and uncompleted event tasks.

How To Complete Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath Of The Bride Tasks
Here is eachOverwatch 2Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bridge task, including challenge details and rewards.
Wrath Of The Bride
To complete this challenge,players must win Wrath of the Bride on any difficulty.Completing this challenge will give playersReinhardt’s ‘Our Tale Begins’ voice line. For players looking to get through the Halloween Terror challenges as quickly as possible, completing Wrath of the Bride on Hard will complete both this task and the Taking the Plunge task in one go.
Taking The Plunge
Completing this challenge involvesdefeating Wrath of the Bride on Hard difficulty. In completing this, players will receive aZomnic Graffiti sprayas a reward.
Here Comes The Bride
To complete this challenge, players shouldwin Wrath of the Bride on Expert difficulty. For completing this challenge, players will berewarded with 1250 Battle Pass EXP.
Love Conquers All
As with the previous challenges, to complete this, players mustwin Wrath of the Bride on Legendary difficulty. For completing this challenge, players will gain another1250 Battle Pass EXP.
Fury Of The Heroes
For this challenge, players shouldwin Wrath of the Bride with a score of 10,000 or higher. In doing this, players will berewarded with the ‘Hasta La Muerte’ spray.
Four Brave Heroes
To complete this challenge, players have to win Wrath of the Bride as fourdifferentOverwatch 2heroes. For completing this challenge, players will receive the ‘Nightfall Over Adlersbrunn’ name card. There are several ways players can attempt this challenge, though it will require four separate playthroughs of Wrath of the Bride regardless; to make it slightly easier, players can play through story mode four separate times. Alternatively, to knock out a few challenges in one go, players can go through each difficulty mode with four different heroes.
Re-Tired
In this challenge, players have todefeat 15 Shock-Tires in Wrath of the Bride. After completing this challenge, players will be rewarded withAshe’s ‘Zomnics Under the Moon’ voice line. Each Shock-Tire defeated in each run of Wrath of the Bride will carry over to the next run, so kills will eventually accumulate.
Council Of The Bride
This challenge involves having playersdefeat 35 bosses in Wrath of the Bride. For completing this challenge, players will receiveJunker Queen’s voice line, ‘Bodies to Bag.‘Just like the Re-Tired challenge, kills will accumulate over runs for this challenge, too.
The Automaton, Transformed
To complete this challenge, players musteliminate the Experiment while it is in tank form in Hard difficulty or higher in Wrath of the Bride. In completing this, players will receive1,000 Battle Pass EXP.
No Spark
Here, players shouldwin in Wrath of the Bride without letting the Lord of the Castle take any damage. Players will receive1,000 Battle Pass EXPin completing this.
Knock, Knock…
For this challenge, players shoulddisturb the guest in the Tavern in Wrath of the Bride. Completing this will net playersKiriko’s ‘Scry Some More’ voice line. While the description of this challenge is a little vague, the resolution is simple:simply knock four times on the doorfurthest to the right on the second floor of the Tavern in Adlersbruun.
Ominous Portent
In this challenge, players will have to witnessall seven Banshee momentsin a single run of Wrath of the Bride. For this, players will receiveKiriko’s voice line, ‘Tarot Reading.‘In this challenge, the Banshee - Moira - can often be spotted at the edges of the map. Players should keep an eye out for her while playing through each run to try and spot her all seven times.
Photozomb
In this more lighthearted challenge, players will have tostrike a pose with the Bride during her introduction in Wrath of the Bride. For achieving this challenge, players will be rewarded withSombra’s ‘Never Cross the Bride’ voice line. This challenge requires some quick thinking (and moving!) from the player, but itispossible - just keep trying to get up onto theoperating table right before the Bride appears.
Witch’s Brew
For this challenge, players need touncover the fate of a terror past in a hidden corner of Adlersbrunn in Wrath of the Bride. Doing so will reward them with theSojourn voice line. To ‘uncover the fate,’ defeat the Summoner and the Gargoyle outside the castle gates and then crouch to access the room next to the moat. The Easter egg players can find here is a call-back to the previousOverwatchtitle.
Lantern Lit
This challenge involvescrouching at the lanternfor six seconds while the Ghost (Sigma) is active in Wrath of the Bride. After completing this, players willreceive 1,000 Battle Pass EXP.
The Wanderers Of Old
To complete this challenge,win Junkenstein’s Revenge on any difficulty. After completing it, players will receive1,000 Battle Pass EXP.
The Endless Night Began
This challenge has playerscompleting Wave 12 in Junkenstein Endlessand gives another1,000 Battle Pass EXPas a reward.
Wedding Planner
In the last of the Wrath of the Bride challenges, all players have to do iscomplete 13 Junkenstein challenges. After completing 13 challenges, players will finally complete this one, too. In finishing this challenge, players will receive aJack o’Lantern weapon charmin celebration.
Junkenstein Revenge Challenge Missions (Battle Pass EXP Missions)
Unfinished Business
In this challenge, players mustwin Junkenstein Challenge Mission: Vengeful Ghost. In exchange, they’ll gain500 Battle Pass EXP. Make sure to use good use of Supports in this game mode.
Spooky, Speedy
In this challenge, the goal is towin Junkenstein Challenge Mission: Frenzied Stampede. After doing so, players will receive500 Battle Pass EXP. Zomnics move much faster at this event level, so work with this in mind.
Terrifying Trio
For this challenge, players need towin Junkenstein Challenge Mission: Three They Were. Once again, players will gain500 Battle Pass EXP. In this mode, players will only have a team of three characters.
Get Ready For A Shock!
Here, players have towin Junkenstein Challenge Mission: Shocking Surprise. They’ll be rewarded500 Battle Pass EXPfor doing so. Prepare for surprise Shock-Tires in this event level.
Volatile And Vile
Players will have towin Junkenstein Challenge Mission: Volatile Zomnicsif they want their500 Battle Pass EXP reward. Heroes with long-distance capabilities are necessary at this level, as enemies will explode if the player gets too close to them.
Costume Party
Finally, players mustwin Junkenstein Challenge Mission: Mystery Swap for their final 500 Battle Pass EXP. This event level is total chaos, with heroes being chosen randomly for the player.
Overwatch 2 Halloween Terror Skins
There are several new cosmetic skins for a handful ofOverwatch 2characters. Some are free - always a bonus - whereas others are paid.
One new Halloween cosmetic is the brand-newLegendary skin for Reaper, ‘Cursed Captain.’ This skin is free for all players who log in toOverwatch 2after October 25 but before the end of Season 1, so be sure to log in before it leaves the game.
The second free skin is not new:Winston’s Werewolf skinreturns and can only be accessed by players after watching at least four hours ofOverwatch 2over on Twitch. Alternatively, the Werewolf Winston spray can also be accessed similarly, though players only need to watch two hours’ worth of content for the spray.
As for the paid cosmetics, two more Legendary skins are available for players to purchase. The first is anew Witch skin for Kiriko, available in a bundle with a few other cosmetic items for 2,600 Coins (roughly around $26 USD). The second is anothernew skin for Junker Queen, featuring her as anExecutioner. This skin is slightly cheaper, coming in at 1,900 Coins (or around $19 USD).
There are other skins to be found in the shop during Halloween, featuring skins from prior years’ events. Some can be purchased alone, while others are only purchasable in bundles. The shop will also refresh at least once during this Halloween event, so be sure to keep an eye out for potential new items to purchase.
