As you venture into Palpagos Islands inPalworld, you will discover how gigantic and vast the archipelago is. Initially, you will be greeted by the cool and calm breaches on the eastern side. Still, as you explore the extreme edges of the Palpagos Islands,Palworldwill introduce you to the horrid landscapes of volcanoes in Mount Obsidian, snowy mountains in the north, and dunes in the northeast. While many alpha Pals inhabit these regions, there are many other rarest pals for you to find inPalworld.
Pals found in Wildlife Sanctuaries are among the rarest inPalworld. There are three wildlife sanctuaries located in the three corners of Palpagos Islands. When hearing the term Wildlife Sanctuary, players might imagine a protected area where Pals live in peace and harmony, but that’s not the case. Wildlife Sanctuaries are large isolated islands of ancient origins home to wild variants of alpha and other rare pals unobtainable by breeding. For that reason, players will have to visit the Wildlife Sanctuaries to catch these rare Pals.
Wildlife Sanctuary No. 1
Recommended pal spheres: Mega and Giga Spheres
Wildlife Sanctuary No. 1 is located in the south of Palpagos Islands. It is the closest wildlife sanctuary to players who started their journey in the Plateau of Beginnings or its nearby islands. Once you can access a flying mount, you can start heading south from the Plateau of Beginnings. Sea Breeze Archipelago Castaway Beach is the closest fast travel point to Wildlife Sanctuary No.1. You can spot the Wildlife Sanctuary to the east of this travel point.

Wildlife Sanctuary No.1 is the only place to findGrizzboltspawning naturally. After capturing a Grizzbolt, you can breed it with other Pals to unlock rarer pals like Digtoise, Kitsun, and Anubis.
Wildlife Sanctuary No. 2
Recommended pal spheres: Ultra and Legendary Spheres
Wildlife Sanctuary No. 2 is located north of Mount Obsidian, a volcanic region on the far west side of the Palpagos Islands. Traversing through the volcanic pits of Mount Obsidian is far from a pleasant experience. The area is cluttered withhigh-level fire palswaiting to prey on low-level trainers. If that’s not scary enough, there are pools of lava and a religious faction called Brothers of the Eternal Pyre ready to attack whoever comes too close to their holy ground.
If you have already been to Mount Obsidian, keep heading north to reach the Ruined Fortress City, and the second Wildlife Sanctuary is just a little north of it. In case you haven’t unlocked fast travel points in Mount Obsidian and are underleveled for the region, go to the Forgotten Island on the northwest side of the map. Wildlife Sanctuary No. 2 is just a little west of the Forgotten Island.

Wildlife Sanctuary No. 2 is the only place players can find theJormuntide Ignis, the only Pal with level 4 Kindling. Players looking to cook lots of cakes for breeding Pals need the Jormuntide Ignis to hasten the process.
Wildlife Sanctuary No. 3
Wildlife Sanctuary No. 3 is located in one of the endgame areas ofPalworld. Players must reach the deserts north of Eastern Wild Island to reach the third Wildlife Sanctuary. After entering the desert region, continue heading north until you find the Deep Sand Dunes fast travel point. Ride a flying Pal to the northeast to reach the final Wildlife Sanctuary.

In Wildlife Sanctuary No. 3, players will find extremely powerful Pals likeShadowbeak, Blazamut, and Incineram Noct, known for their high attack power and strong skills. This isolated island is famous forAstegon, one of the only two Pal with level 4 Mining. you may also find high-level Fenglopes, one of the fastest mounts when combined with the best movement traits.
What to know before going to Wildlife Sanctuaries
Wildlife Sanctuaries are home to some of the rarest Pals inPalworld. Players can only catch some of these rare pals in Wildlife Sanctuaries or obtain them by breeding other rare and legendary Pals. Players who want to breed stronger and rarer Pals should consider visiting their nearest Wildlife Sanctuary.
One thing players need to know about Wildlife Sanctuaries is that no fast travel points are available on these isolated islands. The only way to get there is by traveling to the closest fast travel point and then riding a mount to the sanctuary. Before you make the trip, be sure to stack a bunch of high-quality Pal Spheres. You are good to go for the first Wildlife Sanctuary with Mega and Giga spheres, as Pals here are only around level 20. However, the other two sanctuaries are loaded with powerful level 40-50 Pals, requiring you to have Ultra orLegendary spheresto stand a chance at capturing them.
You also have to be careful when visiting Wildlife Sanctuaries inPalworld. Upon trespassing into these areas, the game will display a warning: “Criminal Activity Undergoing.” Members of the Palpagos Island Defense Force (PIDF) patrol the island. If you’re detected, a red Wanted sign will appear on your screen, and PIDF troops will begin shooting at you. These troops are typically of a high level and will pursue you until either they are defeated or you are. Don’t underestimate their firepower. Utilize your strongest Pals to overcome them.
