Payday 3has fully launched for PC and consoles, and is the first game in the franchise to launch simultaneously for both PC and consoles. The game also supportscross-platform progression and multiplayer, so all versions of the game will be feature parity with one another instead of an incomplete experience for consoles. However, the PC version is still as customizable as ever with its video and graphics settings.
The PC version ofPayday 3contains a host of different settings to change how the game looks visually depending on the strength of a player’s hardware. Thankfully, the game does not require the latest graphics card to get it looking good. This guide will show players the best PC settings to turn on to get the best quality the game has to offer.

Best PC Settings For Payday 3
Payday 3is not the most graphically demanding game, and follows the same path as theprevious gamePayday 2. The recommended system requirements only call for a Nvidia GTX 1080 with 8 GB VRAM, a graphics card that originally released back in 2016. With those kinds of specs, most cards released in the past few years should have very little trouble running the game. Players that fall under those guidelines canturn the following settings to ULTRA:
There are a few other settings that can be turned off includingAnti-AliasingandUpscaling,or Nativefor the latter. Two other settings,Motion BlurandDepth of Field, can come down to personal preference. Motion Blur will give a slight blur to objects on the screen when moving, and Depth of Field will blur the background while aiming down the sights of a gun. There is no real performance hit for enabling both of these options, so anyone can play around with both to their liking.
Finally, the last setting to potentially change isNvidia DLSS.DLSS stands for deep learning super sampling, and isa relatively new featurepresent in more recent Nvidia graphics cards. So, if players happen to have a GPU from the RTX line of Niviida cards, they can change the DLSS setting toQuality.
There are other presets, butPayday 3is not intense enough to warrant bringing down the visual in favor of performance. Those without a Nvidia RTX graphics card will have the DLSS setting grayed out and not able to be changed.
Payday 3is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
