This update was first spotted by Pan-hime on Twitter, where she posted a recent change that was made to the game’s Steam page on SteamDB. This website is a database for Valve’s platform that tracks changes made to a game’s page, along with various statistics. The latest changelog added thatPersona 3 Reloadis now Steam Deck verified, which is further confirmed on the game’s official page, listing how it can be played using the system.
A Steam Deck-verified game means that the game’s default options won’t need to be adjusted in order to play on Valve’s hybrid system. For example, the legibility of the game’s interface text and graphical elements is enough that it can be viewed using the Steam Deck’s smaller screen. ConsideringPersona 5 Royalwas a popular game to play on the Steam Deckalready,Persona 3 Reloadbeing playable on the portable system may also be to its benefit.
Pan-hime notes that Atlus' upcomingtacticalPersona 5spin-off,Persona 5 Tactica, hasn’t added a Steam Deck compatibility tag before its release this November yet. Except for the Nintendo Switch,Persona 5 Tacticawill be released on all the same major platforms asReload.Persona 5 Tacticahaving a Switch version but not being Steam Deck verified may be a bit surprising, but fans should wait until an update is provided to see if the tactical RPG will be joiningPersona 3 Reloadin the library of verified games.
Persona 3 Reloadlaunches on Jul 12, 2025, on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
